I have been selling this year including free postage and noticed my fees are reflecting a higher percentage auction price and not discounting the cost of postage which is clearly advertised to be the medium flat rate usps box rate. I am getting charged a commission on the postage by Ebay as a result and that does not seem fair. They should probably note on their site that adding free postage as a convience to buyers and aiming to get rid of the confusion that you will be paying more for...

To any ebay seller that needs an opinion on the Ad Commerce Program. We have read each policy stated and terms for the Ad Commerce Program. I'm new to eBay Adcommerce and I'm trying to create my first ad. I am entering a Custom URL to my web site landing page as in: www.mysite.com/landingpage.html (note: this is not at eBay landing page) but I get the following message when I click "create Ad" "The destination URL you have entered is not currently allowed. " I have read the instructions for entering custom URLs and I would assume that adcommerce wants me to link to my eBay item page. I understand this. But then...

I thought adcommerce ads are only supposed to link to ebay sites, listings and stores, not off ebay sites? I'm seeing lots of sponsored ads linking to off ebay sites (j&R Music world for example). How is that happening? What am I missing?

For years, Ebay has been so good. products were as advertised. I bought a $56 pair of "genuine Australian wool" slippers. Second pair, new seller. 1st were great. They come and they're made in CHINA. Looked the same. NO, they're of such poor quality that you end up walking on the edges of the soles. Where was the consumer protection? I bought an "ultra sound" machine. The one my Dr. used was warming, nice and healing. The ad said, "Deep Heat". Yeah! That's what I want! The feedback was okay. A...

Being able to transact all business from an item's auction page used to be a simple thing to do. How come this was changed? Ebay is not getting easier to use, it's getting more complicated. Am I the only one who feels this way?

new private listings of bidders allows people to use/open accts with no ramifications(except lose the acct. to then open a new one) Also they can needlessly bid on things,drive up the price,yet have no intention of purchasing the item, making it difficult to judge real bids from false ones,which can cost the bonafide bidder more money or lose the item. Anonymity is great,but when you have established a good reputation, other bidders like to know that the people they bid against are...

Myself and many other sellers are done with ebay. No promotion and NO protection for small sellers anymore! Payment for an auction was not received and when action was taken the buyer responded BUT NOT WITH PAYMENT. THEREFORE EBAY SAYS SINCE THEY RESPONDED WITH AN EMAIL THAT IS ALL THEY NEEDED TO DO. NEVER RECEIVED PAYMENT....NO HELP FROM EBAY! other problems too! MANY OF US ARE TIRED OF SELLERS GETTING A BAD DEAL...IF THERE ARE NO SELLERS THEN.......NO BUYERS...

I wish that Ebay and all other internet providers would get rid of all these moving advertisements. I don't enjoy having my eye distracted by annoying nonsense while I'm trying to scan important lists for items to bid on. Evidently, big business in America is insensitive as usual to the community. First, they got the message 50 years ago that citizens disliked billboards so the government stepped in and prevented that kind of advertising. The next thing in the 90s everyone became concerned...

I just received a response from Ebay Partners wherein they declined my application. I am curious. The website I submitted was recently purchased thru Flippa.com, and is presently set up utilizing Ebay. Seller has an existing active Ebay account on the site. Flippa has many websites that are based totally on Ebay. Most of these webs I'm referencing are sold thru Ebay, such as classyhost, 999turnkey, etc. which have the highest rating on Ebay. What am I missing ?

I am trying to figure out how to run advertising through the "Sponsored links" section. For example if you go to: Link You will see a row that says "Sponsored Links". It lists a product image, Best Value, and takes you to a store outside of Ebay. Thanks, Lori
