I wish that Ebay and all other internet providers would get rid of all these moving advertisements. I don't enjoy having my eye distracted by annoying nonsense while I'm trying to scan important lists for items to bid on. Evidently, big business in America is insensitive as usual to the community. First, they got the message 50 years ago that citizens disliked billboards so the government stepped in and prevented that kind of advertising. The next thing in the 90s everyone became concerned...

I just received a response from Ebay Partners wherein they declined my application. I am curious. The website I submitted was recently purchased thru Flippa.com, and is presently set up utilizing Ebay. Seller has an existing active Ebay account on the site. Flippa has many websites that are based totally on Ebay. Most of these webs I'm referencing are sold thru Ebay, such as classyhost, 999turnkey, etc. which have the highest rating on Ebay. What am I missing ?

I am trying to figure out how to run advertising through the "Sponsored links" section. For example if you go to: Link You will see a row that says "Sponsored Links". It lists a product image, Best Value, and takes you to a store outside of Ebay. Thanks, Lori

Everyones questions and concerns about who is seeing the adds and how eBay does this or that is not necessarily the problem with Ad commerce. The problem is for those that use it, not knowing if they are wasting their money or not. At this point, with the new eBay search matrix including the number of times a person clicks on an item, it may simply be worth it just to get those clicks however those of us that are smaller need more proof of success. Does anyone know if they will be...

I've seen sponsored links on the ebay listings that take people off the site to the sponsor's site. I'm interested in this kind of advertising. I realize the AdCommerce program isn't it. Is there a way to contact Ebay advertising?

Does AdCommerce advertising work? I started advertising with AdCommerce four months ago on four sites: eBay.com, eBay.uk, eBay.au and eBay.ca (all English speaking sites). My advertisements, limited to the "Stamps" category, some using keywords and most showing in sub-categories, average over four million impressions each month with about 800 to 900 clicks to my eBay store. Yes, that is a very low conversion ratio but who cares ? - I get 800 to 900 additional clicks to my store homepage....

An offer for 9.99 for a 4GB Patriot flash memory stick appeared in the "Daily Deal." But when I went to order it through Tiger Direct, it gave me, not free shipping, but a choice of shipping starting from 6.99 and going up to 14.99! Talk about misleading! Shame on whoever created that ad!

Hi! I recently signed up for ebay / adcommerce, so i havent had a chance to start selling or running ads yet. So far, I am used to google adwords, ysm, etc. but I want to start trying ebay as well. I noticed that there is no conversion tracking built in like there is on google, and personally I think could be a problem for me using the system. Can anyone tell me of any other big limitations that I should know about, compared to goog/yhoo/etc.? Also are the users that I will get any...

I have noticed that a few people are guilty of keyword abuse. One such occurance is that of advertising a particular brand of power drill they will include the brand names of every other brand. This can be quite anoying when searching for a specific item. A good example would be to search for a Ford truck and find everything but. What good is the search then. Is there a way to report such abuses?
