I decided that others with new puppies may need a place to show them off. So here you go! This is out new girl, a 9 week old minipin. She's sitting on our older minipin Coco. Lol..Coco allows her presence if she doesn't chew on her hard. Then it's lesson time. Do I have to wear this?

I just finished reading the orange kitty thread. So much cuteness! I've had two orange kitties in the past and they were the most loving cats. This is Squeak, my tuxie. I've posted his picture here before, but wanted to start a tuxedo thread too. He loves to curl up in my bowl. Looks like I disturbed his nap!

OH MY GOODNESS! Look who just walked up our drive and into the garage. At least it's 35 degrees out right now and not 1 degree like the other day. Poor kitty. I'd hate to be out in this weather. I've seen this kitty around before, and believe he has a home in the area. He looks well fed (from seeing him from afar). But, I ran a little dry kitty food out to the garage for him. If he doesn't eat it, the garage opossums will! But, isn't he pretty?

has anybody bought a zhu zhu pet to entertain their real pets? I am thinking of getting one of these robotic hamsters to entertain a kitten, and my son needs something for his Shih Tzu to play with. They cost $8 each and if the real pet is going to destroy it in under 5 minutes I don't want to spend the money Is there a good indestructible robotic toy that works for pets? I told my son maybe he should just buy a Roomba vacuum cleaner to entertain the dog, but that's pretty price, too.

Today we adopted a little Westie girl from a local kill shelter. She is older, she has cataracts, she's a bit stiff when she moves ~ but she is just a joy to have around! She goes for her grooming on Monday. For now, she has that scruffy terrier thing going. Here she is gazing out the patio doors ~ 'Where Am I?' Link

BLAH!!!!!! Sweet mother of every disgusting taste in the world...Dang it, its terrible & I can't get the taste out of my mouth, last thing to try gargling with bleach..lol I was feeding the cats this evening (their wet food) and when I cleaned off the counters I must have missed a piece. Just a little while ago I was getting a piece of chocolate pie...Thought a crumb was on the counter, stuck it in my mouth...What a wake up that was. First thing that ran through my mouth was, thats what...

This one is easy, what is the oldest some of your cats have lived, past or present? A female Calico named "Jackie Mookie" of mine lived to 21, and her brother Jay Jay at 24 is stilll alive and a little slow now but other wise in good health, although when he is sleeping and resting I do look at him twice to make sure he is still breathing, really, and when I leave the house for part of a day, he is the first one that I look for when I come in the door....

My seven year old Lab, Sequoia, has always been a food thief. If you leave bread on the counter, she snatches it. Same for butter. And you don't dare let leftovers come to room temp. My philosopy has always been that that is who she is. Other than that, she is perfect. She doesn't beg, never gets human food from us, and obeys all the commands she taught us, even with the children. Down, stay, heel, sit, out, quiet. My hubby, on the other hand, is very frustrated. He set some burgers out...

Mari, the other thread was removed, but can you post here on Spirit, and how he is doing? It must have been the "salad" thing, so it appears that we best not mention that anymore...at least here.

Hi All The vet gave me steroid ear drops for a bad infection in my dog's ear (he is a small dog, weighs 10 pounds) And it is a bad infection, I thought he had a big bug stuck in his ear, that's what it looked like, so I ran to the vet, but the big black thing in the ear was the infection. Vet told me to wear gloves when putting them in his ear, and to watch and see if the dog gets sick to his stomach. I'm a bit scared to use the drops, has anyone used steroid drops for their dogs ears? If...
