I'd never heard of it before, The ingredients read good enough for a human to eat! YUCK (not really) I found a great deal on it at Big lots yesterday and bought 4 cans. Googled it and not quite sure what the consensus is about it. Anyone use it or know if it's okay to feed my elderly collies that have stiff joints? Gotta run, but I'll check back later to see if I need to go stock up on it! If you knew Him like I know Him, then you'd know that He's alive!

Long story, but I'll try to make it short. A woman that works the night shift cleaning the deli was charged with animal cruelty a few months ago because of some horses she had let starve and get in terrible shape. A couple had died and a vet had to put one down because it had gotten caught in some old wire and was torn up pretty bad on top of being way underweight from not being fed. There is a lady on there that has a house full of cats that she is caring for...Neighbors & the like have moved away & left the cats behind..they find her & on & on.DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I'm not sure if I mentioned it here before, but the Hubby had taken classes to be a state licenesed nurse's aide. The class has been over for awhile and he just went in a few days ago and took the final tests. Well in the mail yesterday was his State license card. He passed!!!! I'm so proud of him. He's in school now for building maintenance {elec., welding, plumbing, etc.}. This is a long 9 month class. As some of you know he lost his job of 19 years over a year ago or so. He's been...

So Cal residents only. I have the max # of cats I can keep. Due to foreclosures in the area, 4-6 stray cats have appeared @ my door b/c the owners apparently just bailed on them. I refuse to call the pound b/c they kill strays in my county in a short time (3-7 days- conflicting reports exist). Cats are as follows: 1 orange male (like morris the cat)- approx approx 6-12 mos., 2 striped males- approx. 6-12 mos, 1 grey female (just had 3 babies- I cannot currently find the babies), 1 black male-...

I have spoken to a couple of people who say they probably would NOT get a dog from a shelter, so I'll tell you my story. My son wanted a puppy so badly, he was 8 years old. We live out in the country and it's quite a drive into town so I got on the phone to the Humane Society, Told them I want a puppy, don't care if it's a mix breed or what. I just wanted to encourage people who might be trying to do this for the sake of your cat's health and having trouble. It IS do-able! I posted on here a few weeks ago for suggestions because I'd decided to try. My cat had been a stray and would only touch dry food -- at first only Purina, but I gradually got her onto the Natural Balance. We have 3 dogs a AmStaff, Am. Bulldog and a Boston. We recently added a YorkiePom to our crew. The 2 large dogs love her and they get along really fine, but our little Boston, does not like her AT ALL, and sometimes snaps at her. She (Rainey, newest), seems to want very much to play with the Boston, but she (Shady), runs away from her. She chases us,and the other dogs all over the house and backyard, but Shady wants no part of her. Any suggestions?!! ~:o)

I decided that others with new puppies may need a place to show them off. So here you go! This is out new girl, a 9 week old minipin. She's sitting on our older minipin Coco. Lol..Coco allows her presence if she doesn't chew on her hard. Then it's lesson time. Do I have to wear this?
