Hi Looking for suggestions on good reliable new or used cars. I hit a deer and totaled my car. so now I have to look for another one and I haven't looked at or paid attention to cars for quite a while. I had a Pontiac Vibe. I like vehicles with a bit of hauling space (I am a scrounger), but not SUV's too big & too gas guzzling. I drive 60 miles one way to work 5 days a week. What are these things that keep cloging up the boards with off topic subjects? They end up at the top of boards and having nothing to do with the board topics. Then no one bothers to explain what they are. I guess they are closed groups set up to make newer users feel they don't belong. I think we need to report them for spaming the boards.

I made a serious typo in the title of my auction and now that I want to change it I can't because there are bids on the item. I DID go in and ad an addendum to the description but I could only hope that the bidders are reading through the whole page. "AND" I can't contact the bidders because ebay says I don't have any transaction with them. What should I do at this point? Item # 320452736268 The reel is a 5600 and not a 5400. I have a question, when you list as Buy It Now and have more than 1 quantity, do you pay an insertion fee for just the listing, or is it based on how many items you have in your quantity? For example if the fee is $0.35 for listing and I'm selling 5 items in the same listing, will I pay $0.35 or $1.75 for the listing fee? Thanks!

I was researching an item up for bid when I stumbled upon a website with information that looked suspiciously familiar. The seller of the item has used the exact wording (not quoted) as on the website and has used the exact same picture as shown on the website (without credit). I call up a listing page. A damn Ebay popup directs me to the highly rated sellers. I X out of the popup and peruse. I follow a link to see if it is what I want. It isn't. I return to the listing page. A popup directs me to the highly rated sellers. I X out of the popup ... And this goes on forever. Is anybody at Ebay awake? Hello, I would like to know what is the best listing duration in order to maintain a good popularity in Best Match. Should I list on 10 days and relist automatically or should I use the 30 days or GTC duration to make sure I get good search results ? Thank you for your help Thedude_fr

Someone who I've apparently made an enemy who keeps making new accounts and buying my items and not paying for them. Sometimes they also delete their account before I can do anything about them. At first I didn't care because I thought they'd stop but this has happened a lot. Not only do I not get money, I have to spend money to relist the auctions. I don't know what to do. Can someone help?

This must be the dumb question of the day, but I have been away from ebay for so long, I can't find it. The format is totally different. I looked at an item and wanted to ask the seller something. There were all kinds of places to get information, but none that answered my question. Seller stated in a store page to contact her under the 'Meet the Seller' tab. Where in the world is that? Couldn't find it anywhere. Has contacting the seller been 'improved' out of ebay?

I have listed a pair of jean 2 times now and at the end of bidding the user is no longer a registered ebayer. I believe but am not positive it is the same person that keeps changing their account and id. I have the jeans relisted now for the 3rd time! How do I prevent this from happening again?

i was informed that all Nintendo DS games that are being sold on ebay from Hong Kong and all of Asia are selling bootleg counterfiet Nintendo DS games.All games they sell do look real and are sealed but are indead fake .They do play but dont play on DSi have saving and loading problems so if you see a deal to good to be true then it is and dont buy.All nintendo DS games do play on DSi so if in the listing it says i dont play in the DSi then its a bootleg.If you havent noticed that sellers from...

We've had wonderful Christmas Card exchanges every year that I've been on AL and it's time to sign up if you'd like to be in on this year's. Signups will go through next weekend and I'll put the list out on Monday or Tuesday. There is NO deadline on when you send your cards; just be sure that if you sign up, you DO send cards. Postage is expensive! If you were on last year's exchange, I do NOT need your address unless you've moved or changed your name. Just write through eBay...

I just discovered that I got credit for the FVF on a cake plate I sold. It was in the afternoon and it was on someone's watch list; I know because I had sold her something else in the morning and we corresponded before she bought it. Seems like an ODD thing to get credit on, but I'm not complaining!

Sorry I havent posted this, before now. I have no real excuse but indicision on what to offer. ) Im also going to offer at a minimum of one collector knife, animal picture. They are pocket knives in tins. On Saturday we fixed a software issue that resulted in a disruption to our site. If you were a regular user of the"feature first" listing tool which ebay removed a few weeks back then please let ebay know how you feel. Feature first is now only available to "Top Sellers" who qualify for it. Having used this tool successfully for years and to have it SUDDENLY removed has affected my sales quite drastically and I would like ebay to put it back ASAP. I FOR ONE, DO NOT MIND THE EXTRA COST OF THIS listing TOOL AS THE SALES RESULTS I OBTAINED WERE BETTER.

Hi, I created a bunch of listings last week that qualified for the 1/2 price listing fee promotion but I schedule them to start after the sale ended. When I go into to tweak some of them, it no longer shows the sale price. I'm assuming I don't get the sale price on any of them. I guess I'm wondering why does it clearly state the sale price to be charged, I click submit, and they end up charging more. I'm probably missing something, but that just doesn't seem right. I don't sell a lot on Ebay -- just now and then. Right now I have a camera lens listed that I no longer use. The list states very clearly that I only ship to US residents. I have received two inquiries about shipping to Hong Kong or Australia. I said no. I notice in the bid list that two people from China and Korea have placed bids. Tweet regarding today's outage under tag #ebayfail (not emailing sellers so they could end auctions, minimizing what is a functional complete system outage). call the better business bureau to report them on Monday. Call and continually demand reasonable compensation, not the insult of listing fee refunds. If we all do this, there will be a positive result for sellers.
