I am not one of them....but I think we would all enjoy seeing pictures of your favorite masterpieces! Please post pictures!

Hi. I'm hoping someone can help me. I bought a vintage mohair (I believe) teddy bear with a metal button in his ear. I don't think it's a Steiff button but maybe someone can help me identify what kind of bear he is. The little round button is made of I believe bronze or copper (probably copper) and the indentations on the button are 5 dots in a V formation 3 on the right side and two on the left. His face looks like a Steiff and he is jointed. He measures about 16 inches long. Can anyone...

Hi. This is a cool story. A very kind eBay seller recently sent me this antique monkey. She acquired him from the original owner, and was more concerned about sending him to a fine home than selling him, so she gave him to me! I absolutely love him! He was made in the early 1900's for a girl named Peggy, who had a breathing problem. Each morning, an organ grinder and his monkey, named Jocko, would visit. When the music stopped, Jocko would climb to the window with a cup, and the child...

I picked this guy up at a local GW, and I know nothing about him. He has a tag on his back that says "Redfield Bears - Exclusively for Jenger's - Solvang, C.A." He seems to have suede paws, and has something in his left paw that clicks when you press it. The right paw plays "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". I just want to learn something about him, never heard of Redfield bears before. Here's the pics: (Couldn't get a good pic of the back tag, seems to bleed out in the black fur)

Hi, I have a Gobo Plush from Fraggle Rock, he is from the Hasbro Softies line, about 14" tall. I'm trying to find out if the scarf on the Gobo I have is the original scarf, or if it is something someone added on. Apparently the original did come with a scarf. However, the scarf on this Gobo looks like it may have been added by someone. It's not attached to him or anything. Any completed or current listings mention that there was a scarf but most of them are missing. This one has a...

I put this on the Toy board with not much luck. He resembles a very early Steiff squirrel, and has a hole in his ear where a button could have been ripped out. The squirrel has an airbrushed velveteen body and a mohair tail. The bottom is hand sewn shut and the stuffing is rock hard. That alone would make me think he's early. He turned up in a thrift store in the toy bin along with a pile of Beanie Babies. Link Ruth the Packrat She who dies with the most toys, still dies....

This 3½" bear is mohair with his original neck ribbon. I do not think he is Steiff .. Might he be Hermann?? Schuco?? Many thanks for any help..... The back of the tag is shown --- shows material content... The last picture shows his 3 brothers -- -far right is a Steiff from the same era .... For comparison ... but still did not help me!!!

Hi there I found some beanies in the thrift shop the other day, and I remembered that valuable beanies have tush tags written in black. So one of the beanies was called Peking Panda. The Peking I found has his original tag attached to his ear. I have taken several photos and was wondering if anybody knows the value of Peking, and of course if this Peking is real? I did some research and read that they are often faked. How can I find out about my Peking? Can't find anything online...
