I'm listing this bear, and all I know is that it is home made, or crafty, or bottom line artist made. It's a cute thing, I think, but it has no identification on it at all. Just wondered if anyone had ever seen one or anything similar that might lead to an ID. Thanks!!!

I got a message from a girl in Germany asking if I'd sell him overseas. Why does this NOT make me happy? Of course, I'll sell him to her...that's not it. I just HATE this! Sorry to be such a downer. I just really love my old teddies.

so, at my local thrift store, which i today realized has become the teddy bear graveyard in my town , and of course which i now have realized it may be my mission to ressurect . so yeah, im a girl with a soft spot for bears i spotted two bears im contemplating. They are signed on the foot by someone named Lonnie St. Martin-with a date of 1992. i am just curious if anyone knows anything about this bear maker....quality seems to be pretty good...the bears are about $25 ....and they are of...

I have a bear I'm listing that I purchased in the late 80s. It doesn't have any tags (though it may have had at one time). On it's paw is written in marker "9/87 OT". Any thoughts?

Hi all- I have a stuffed musical lamb, she plays a pretty song, that I do not know. She has no tag. She is about 12 inches long. Pink ears, and eyes and pink nose and glue where her mouth used to be. Any info appreciated!

Just had to pay $300 for prescriptions and $500 for doctor visits. Time to sell teddies, I guess. Just had to post, cause I'm feeling crummy and down in the dumps. I can't part w/ my Steiff I just got, but I think the other oldies are going to be bidding me fairwell, along with some Boyds, Vanderbears, and misc. teddies I've had for some time now. Sometimes reality just bites. Thanks for letting me vent and whine!

I picked this guy up last week, ok not a guy, but a duck lol Hes Dondald Ducks Nephew in a school outfit?, felt, soft stuffed but yet he feels solid, his collar i think is vinyl, he has cardboard in his feet, and is around 8" tall I thought knickerbocker? or Character Novelty Co? when i looked at him, but thats just a guess, he looks 1940'ish? I went to the Disney forum before i purchased him and nobody knew, but now i have a pic, so that may help. He was $50 dollars, so not too bad. He has...

White stuffing? Mohair or Plush? Not sure if eyes are glass or plastic. Unshaved, long snout. Long, curved arms. Football shaped body. Small hump on top of back. Hand carved night stick. No tags. today i was tooling around in a bin of stuffed animals at the local junk store and i saw these eyes staring up at me....i could NOT resist! i think i may be in love anyway, i know nothing about bears, but besides being a cutie, he is light beige-ish bear. I think his eyes are plastic, 2 tone, brown with big black pupils and are set very close together. I found him in a thrift store bin, paid a bit over $2.00 and absolutley love him. I just really want to know if he has a name, other than the one I gave him! Anything about him at all...he has a tag with the number 69/35 and on another tag is handwritten , looks like either PH or PA 1871 , which i think was handwritten in europe, as the 1's and the 7 are written in European style. I just want to find some history on this particular little guy. any help is appreciated...thanks!

Well here's another one I found today. The poor pitiful thing It's about 8" tall, jointed arms and legs, but the legs still work and one of the arms doesn't and the other one is loose ready to come off. Glass eyes, really dirty plush of some sort. Can't tell what it's stuffed with. Any ideas on this one? And, should I try and brush it or what to fix his awful hair?
