Hi Everyone, Thank you again for your passion re: our Revised Code of Conduct. We recognize that several of you are discouraged by what you view as a lack of response on eBay’s part to reported listings. Please keep in mind that this is a new policy. As with any new policy/rule, we are working to educate our members before punishing them for doing something they did not even know was against the rules. So, depending on the nature of the violation, we may issue a warning prior to ending a...

I need opinions on what would sell better; Franklin Halves or Kennedy Halves. I've got lots of Deep Cameo Proof Franklin and Kennedy Halves, and some that are just cameo Proofs, but between Franklins and Kennedy's, which would a collector be more interested in?

I just bought this at a rummage sale. It's a coin that purports to be a 1745 Maria Theresa in a Victorian or maybe Georgian setting (the hinge wasn't used much if at all after 1900). The edge is applied somehow, but when I bought the pin I couldn't tell because some idiot used silver polish and left it caked into the edges. Even I know better than to polish a coin, but as this was made in to jewelry possibly other rules apply. I normally post on the jewelry board, but this one crosses...

Hello, i just listed a 1991 s GEM Deep cameo proof kennedy have dollar. I was wondering if I was asking to much for the starting bid of $19.99 with free shipping and free insurance. I add a pic of my coin to my listing so you can check out the coin.

What would you guys do? I sold an item on Nov 3 and the guy still hasn't paid. I sent him a reminder email yesterday but nothing else. My policy as written in the auction is payment due within 3 days. I know it's only been 4 days but this is the first time anyone hasn't paid within 36 hours. How long should I wait? And then, what should I do? I don't want to send another note yet since I just sent one yesterday. Thanks.

I was hoping some one could shed some light on these "unknowns" for me... "A" is an unknown Asian Cash coin, it looks Chinese, but the two characters on the reverse are a mystery to me. "B" through "D" are Vietnamese, but I can't ID them. They may be private issues, the closest info. I could find suggested they might be 15th century. I'll post more info. on what I located so far, later. "E" is an aluminum token... is this a "so-called dollar"? Do you think it is from 1892, or is it...

What is the best way to package coins for shipping to NGC for grading? I'm particularly wary of vinyl flips these days after seeing a pretty nice coin pitted by PVC damage.

Hello all, I understand that these Dragon coins from China have been counterfeited pretty heavily. I was hoping someone out there could take a look at this one and give me some advice. Thanks all!

i just sold what i thought was a 1923-s peace. Then when i looked at my feedback this guy "who took a week to pay by e- check" said its a 1928-s but thats ok. So i sent him a note saying why did'nt you tell me before you left the feedback i could have done something about it. And to beat all i lose on the deal because if it is a 1928-s its worth more money. I don't know how to link the page so here is the auction number 110449075760 can someone check this date for me i am still not convinced...

I thought it might be helpful to have a thread where politically active folks of all stripes could slug it out without taking over single-topic threads like the Silver thread (for example). I couldn't find towboat's old Boxing Ring thread, so I'm setting up a new one.

Well are you all ready to do this again? I sure am. I've got a few more pics of some toners that found me recently and would like to show them to you here. Some of the pics will be reruns of greatest hits or reshoots done with a few new tricks I stumbled upon but there are about 50 new coins that haven't been shown anywhere. Mostly U.S. but I got some nice world coins too. Also I want to see your best shots of your best coins. Don't be intimidated by my monster shots. Give it your best shot and...
