Can anyone say definatively yes or no? Some clerks will accept packages for this rate and others say No...claim its "Magazines and has advertising" etc. Its been a crap shoot at the post offices I use and I'm tired of getting burnt on large shipments if I can in fact ship Media Rate. They end up using this other rate that maybe saves a dime called Printed Material but is a variable rate based on where its going by Zip Code so many times its about the same as First Class. Tonight at the 24/7...

Why are sellers allowed to send your comics in the same package but charge you separate shipping? If your books are going to your home in the same package then why does EBay still allow sellers to charge you separately I've gotten a strike because I refused to give in. Why should I pay the seller for a service i'm not getting? He's going to take my money, use the money for the first shipping charges to pay to ship my books then pocket the money I paid him for the second separate shipping....

What's some of your best drek to treasure comics. Like some comics you got from a quarter bix and then resold for nice profit. One of the best I remember is about 10 years ago I bought a bunch of Samuria Cat mini series (1-3 about 5 sets) and resold them on ebay for $25.00 each set. Also did well with some married with children and Alex Ross Elementals issue.

eBay Wants Its Sellers Back Early last year, eBay inflicted some damaging policy changes that sent many sellers running for the hills... ------------------------------------------------ One of the things that infuriated sellers most was that eBay had a concerted doublespeak campaign running through the media which attempted to paint fee hikes as reductions. "You asked. We Listened." Now, the media at least acknowledge that it aibn't wnat happened. Why? Largeky because eBay...

So I'm sure everyone has seen the alerts that ebay has been posting about insurance. You can't offer insurance anymore??? It says you can fold the insurance into the shipping and handling. I guess that's fine if you just list at fixed price but what about auction style where you might get some unseen amount for an item. I don't know what to do so for right now I guess I will not insure packages until I get some feedback on here. Most buyers that I have sold to waive insurance anyway...

Hi folks! Sometimes "a picture is worth a thousand words" and as Daphne says, "sometimes it's just fun!" So I thought I would post this information and pin this to the top of the the board for a while to help those who may want to include images in their posts. You can include an image in your post by following these instructions: First, you'll need to store your picture file on a web site somewhere. Many Internet Service Providers (ISP) offer their customers web space as part of...

I bought a grossly over-graded ASM #2 -seller claimed 7.5. I thought about 2.5, but seeing as grading is subjective, I took my lumps and added it to my collection. My mistake was I did not take it out of the bag and inspect it. Flash forward a year, I open it up and Lo and behold it has a missing page. I sent it to CGC to get my qualified so I can sell it honestly. I figured I would look for an upgrade. Well it came back from CGC a universal 3.0 I guess CGC is just looking at the cover?...

comic books" right now. I have tried numerous times, in numerous ways. Any seller with an item ending now or in the near future deserves a refund.

This comes up on threads now and then- mentions of auctions that end with much higher results then your average comic book buyer/seller would expect. I thought that if a specific thread was set up to keep track of comics and comic lots that go for more than would generally be expected we might be able to pick up some interesting info. It could be especially helpful in getting a sense of what comics from the 80's and 90's are being to show some real collector interest. Obviously, many of the...

Check this guy out . . . He's crazy! Have you ever looked at an ad in a comic book and bought the item being advertized? I never did, but I have thought about it. I always wondered about those sea monkeys! So how about you . . . Link

I have a statue of the main character from Pin-Up that I want to list, and I'm trying to decide the format/starting price. Wondering if anyone can tell me how popular she might be.... very few listings for the books and none for any associated collectibles that I could find here on the Bay. Any advice appreciated.
