Link Gee, sounds great. I wonder what could possibly go wrong? And how soon we'll find out just what could go wrong.

At the risk of sounding partisan, what would happen if this were you or I? Is this restoring integrity or more of the same? Link

Well, I was visiting the local newsstand this past weekend and I decided to browse the comic book racks (browse only not buying). I was absolutely floored when I saw some Marvel books priced at $5.99, is this what the comic book hobby is coming to? $6 for ONE comic book? I did notice most monthly books were $2.99 each but quite a few were $3.99 and even higher! Are people honestly paying this much for a comic book? I no longer go to the LCS in this area so I have no idea what is going on. To me...

Link this is clearly a fluff piece, but as for being a *new* marketing technique, what planet are they from?. The first 6 issues of the Star Wars the comic came out before the movie. The NY conventions were selling the movie poster (for $5 and it never occurred to me how big this movie could be so I didn't buy one). So, yeah, we had buzz 30 years ago. When I saw the movie with my dad, when we got home we were discussing the movie. I commented that some scenes had been cut from the...

I understand about not being a "professional grader", but regardless of whether the seller meant "good" using the 10 point grading scale, or "good" in its more common general english usage, it seems with two chunks out of the cover, any use of the word "good" is quite a stretch. Link

I didn't want to post this under "unfair sellers" or the "LBGA thread", and I didn't see a thread that said "give me some cheese to go with my whine" so here it is... I received ASM # 77 in the mail today (great book). It was graded as a fine with no tears or creases and for the most part it was. After inspecting it, I decided to check out the original auction pic. There was now a ding on the cover that was not present in the auction pic (slight tear). It looks like the seller thumbed...

Hi, Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but what's the best way to get rid of all these comics. I've collected them over the last 35 yrs. or so and have numerous titles. All books are in sleeves with the backerboards in them and are stored in long boxes. The local comic book shop will only give me around $25 a box,and I thought that was kind of cheap as I have paid more than that for single issues. I would like to get rid of them in one lot. Any help or suggestions would be...

DICK TRACY newspaper comic. The date it was in the newspaper was April 20,1946. BUT........ It was dated by the artist in the last square:4-28-46. How is this discepancy explained? It looks like the artist drew it 8 days after it appeared in the paper.
