Hello comic fans! Do any of you sellers accept Paypal payments from buyers with unconfirmed addresses? Even if the buyer has a good feedback record? What is the real risk? If your shipment is insured, would that eliminate potential problems? Just wondering how you guys handle it. I heard there could be problems and started to state "no unconfirmed addresses" in my auctions, but some buyers ignore that statement. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Well, not met exactly; more like was within 30 feet of her. But it's a start! Mt thanks to secrets1968 who obtained tickets for The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on which Lauren Graham, former star of The Gilmore Girls, was a guest. We attended a taping at CBS Television City in west Los Angeles which is — is this an incredible juxtaposition of fate or what — where Gilmore Field, home of the old minor leagues Hollywood Stars baseball team, used to be. And on the way from the...

Talk about a disruptive innovation, eBay has announced that it will layoff (terminate) one thousand employees or about 10% of it's workforce plus rid itself of hundreds of temp workers. All at the same time they announce that their earnings for the third quarter will be higher and they'll also be gobbling up "Bill me Later", an online payment site, for a mere $820 million and a Danish classified site for another $390 million. Wow, what a wonderful venue eBay is....NOT! Link No...

Do most of you like Marvel or DC better, and why? I am a Marvel man, but I really like some of the classic silver age DC covers and comics, as well as the newer stuff. I guess I really don't like much from the 80's and 90's. Anybody agree? In fact, I think that era has kind of left a bad taste in my mouth to the point I only really like Batman anymore. Is Superman dead????????????

Today I was packing up some Marvel comics from the seventies and I kept seeing a picture of this guy on the back covers. I read and it was an advertisement for a technical school wanting people who didn't finish high school or go to college. That tripped me out. Do people think comic book fans are stupid? Anyway, what is the weirdest back cover on a comic that made you stop and say, huh?

eBay.com Advises Canadian Media Sellers to Adjust Pricing By Ina Steiner AuctionBytes.com September 30, 2008 AddThis Social Bookmark Button eBay suggested that Canadian sellers of media products adjust their pricing when selling on the US site to deal with a new eBay.com shipping policy. Beginning on Friday, eBay is imposing a cap on shipping charges in the Books, Movies & DVDs, Music, and Video Games categories on eBay.com. eBay said that Canadian sellers are not subject to the...

COMIC COVER POST As an ebay comic seller I scan tons of comics! I figured I'm not the only one out there scanning comics by the box and that we might enjoy seeing each others favorite pics. Only one rule! Don't post pics of comics you are selling! Please only use pics from stuff that is either already sold or something you are not going to sell! I'm going to kick off the thread with a few of my own. Hope to see some from all of you!

Because you demanded it, true believer!!! The name "girlsaurus" actually goes way back. When I was a teenager, my cousin gave me a blood transfussion, but turns out it was actually irradiated blood and it gave me these powers... Woops, sorry, wrong origin. Well, I'm from Venezuela, where the average women's height is about 5 feet, 3 inches. At the age of 13 I had almost reached my full height of 6 feet, so I was at least a head taller than all my friends. Being taller than the rest, I...

Here are some basic questions and talking points: 1. Should there be an actual Atom Age that's separate and distinct from the Golden Age? If so, is 1946 the appropriate year for its start? Did the Golden Age really end in 1945? 2. 1956's Showcase #4 has received almost universal acceptance as the first Silver Age comic. Marvel's Fantastic Four #1, which was published five years later, has obvious significance for Marvel and the comic book world. Does the "Marvel Age" thus deserve it's own...
