My computer worked fine until today. Now, if I go to a website, it either times out, loads only part of page or I can't get to another page. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it several times, then it worked right for about an hour. Now it's acting this way again. I've run hijack this and nothing is there that shouldn't be. I've run scans, nothing there either, I've cleaned up everything, defragged, etc. Nothing is helping. Anybody got any ideas or help? Thanks

Hello, This has got to be so simple, but I can't find anywhere to change the size. I printed an email and the text is so small I can't even read it with a magnifying glass. I found where to change it for composing mail. I have looked on the printer properties, preferences, etc. but can't find it anywhere. The printer is a HP DesJet 950 Series. Thanks for any help! Dana

Anyone know some products that give good profit margin? So far recent video games are doing well. I guess I am asking for somthing that sells for both high and low, so I can make the effort to middleman. I like computers and networking equipment and electronics, so I post here.

I never hrd about this camcorder or Company, i was thinking of buying this camera but i google it, went to bing.com, yahoo and youtube.com, and nothing about this camcorder,its all the same Specs.... i jst wanted to know if some has bought it or even seen it work. jst want to know if its woth it and your opinions on the camera Heres a Link: Link

Running MacBook Pro with Mac 0S X, ver.10.5.8 Sometimes, when I open an eBay auction page, it doesn't show the entire content (but not always). It shows the upper info part, it shows left side menu part, but does not show the center frame. If I go to that frame and right-click and select "open in new window", it does. Then I can see all the info that should be there when first opening the auction page. Can't find anything about frames in help. Any suggestions?

In a room, I have one old XP and one new W7 computer on separate incoming Internet cables, linked by network to one printer. Question: The old computer got infected. Can a printer get infected? Can that be a route of infection to the still good computer? [Details==My older computer got hit last week with Worm.win32.NETSKY and some other items with alphabet soup titles. Getting a new pc for very basic user parents (net, word, light music, photos, etc) and it's between Q8400 w/ 8gb i3-530 w/ 6gb Everything else is identical They are going to keep it for a bit longer than normal, maybe 5 years, Since the quad cores are already 'over' was thinking maybe go w/ the i3? Then googled + people were saying the 530 wasn't as good compared to a q8400... I know it's probably a minimal difference, but can't decided lol! Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I've been a Mac guy for years and know absolutely nothing about Windows but now have a need to purchase Windows XP to use with Bootcamp on my Mac. I'd like to stay legal and get a version that won't cause problems. OEM versions, COA's, Keys, etc. aren't used in the MAC world so need some advice on what to look for and what to avoid.

I have recently acquired a new laptop computer and I am having a problem with being able to access the internet via my ISP Charter Comm. I am using the same cable motem that I use with my desk top pc. (I am not using the WiFi feature.) Every time I try to log on with IE, I get a, "Connection failed" indication. I am doing everything the same as I do with my desk top! Any Thoughts?

Hello all...hope someone can help out...I keep getting a message that says CMOS Battery Failed, my screen will either lock up or go to a grey screen of death type thing and then I have to re-boot, I also have to keep re-setting the time and date. This is a Gateway 5626 its about 3 years old, do the cmos batteries go bad that quickly? It will not lock up or go blank when I am on the net, mostly when I am running programs, namely games. All ideas and helpful suggestions are appreciated,...

I have an older keyboard and want to use it sometimes with my laptop which is new with Win7. Can I get something to convert the PS2 connection to USB which is what is on the laptop? And will it work? Thanks.

Hi - We purchased a Gateway computer several years ago that had software programs included with it (Quicken basic 99, Corel, etc.). These programs have not been used and are sealed. We are wondering about selling these but need to know if these will work on another computer? Any input would be appreciated! Thank You -

im tearing my hair out here. i need a 45 second or so video clip. just need to chop off the ends as far as editing. dl to my pc, cant watch it in windos media player because im "missing a codec". fine. i bypass the prob by importing directly from the camera into pinnacle. chop the ends off as needed. the problem is, my audio and video become unsynced after the first few seconds. the audio gets way ahead of the video and it has this awful lip synched look. i googled how to solve this problem...

Help! I am trying to write for a travel guide where there is a lot of peer editing. The problem? Everyone is working from word, while I'm working from a trial version of Office. So somehow a file I submitted in Office got sent to me in a Word form that could be read by Office only in compatibility mode -Microsoft word document. But I can't find this anywhere in my files? How does one find a "document [compatibility mode] -Microsoft Word" on one's computer? Why isn't it listed with the rest...
