Hi all, I am on Day 2 or almost 36 hours of not smoking. I was a 1 -2 pack a day smoker for 30 years. I enjoyed smoking or I am VERY addicted to the nicotine. I am having a rough time....I feel awful. I am so spaced out, staggering around like a drunk, dizzy, and I think I am hungry all the time. I chewed two pieces of gum yesterday and one so far today. I understand that the gum is just as addictive as the cigs. I don't want to substitute one bad habit for another. What I need is...

My garden with the compost in back. That is a hill with grass on it, not compost. I will post a photo on the next post. Since I live in a very cold climate, zone 2, I am always experimenting with ways to have a better garden. Usually things do not work out but this past year I hit on a way to save compost in the winter. In the fall, I collect leaves and grass that come from the last mowing of the season. That way I have a good blend of browns and greens and no need to worry about mixing....

This is after cleaning from a farm auction where much of the farm tools were antique (circa 150 yrs. old). All I know is it is SOME KIND of pump. I can hardly list it that way. Can anyone identify it? 2. From the same auction I got a galvanized steel milking pail with only one plastic or rubber nozzle coming out of the side. It doesn't look like any other milk or milking pails I've seen. Can anyone give me any information on this. Thank you. Carpe Diem: Seize the Day!

Being a Pampered Chef Rep, that is. I had a show recently and to my surprise, I had 6 people show up! Also 3 outside orders! I was surprised because I don't know very many people around here yet, even though we've lived here 2 years now. And most amazing, 4 of my attendees agreed to Host a show, ONLY if I became a rep! WOW! I am humbled. So I'm gonna try it! Limit all US politicians to two terms. One in officeOne in prisonFollow Illinois' lead!!

I sold a western, leather covered stuirrup recently. I've had it in a box of odds & ends upstairs for years. Nice stirrup, was taken off a circle Y saddle I was told. I had someone win it. I emailed her hours before the auction was up and asked if she realized it was only ONE sturrip. AFTER she wins she gets the email and says she has NO use for it. I cancel her and she agrees. I did tell her to read closer AND ask questions before bidding, says IN the description. Ok, I relist it. This...

After doing some figuring and deciding what we can get rid of to afford a faster connection I have hughesnet coming monday. I spent about 8 hours researching, calling, writing everything down, etc. With all the options and prices weighed this is the best for us. Just would like to hear from some that have it and like it. Come on, build me up. Lol.. Do I have to wear this?

I made up a flyer for the saddle club sale and rather than spending a stamp to mail it, I want to email it to anyone wanting one. I made it in the print shop 15. Everytime I email it to myself and try to print it, it's just lines, not text. Do I have to wear this?

Ok, it was my fault. I got way too close while trying to take pictures of them. There were four of them and the one closest too me ran over and stomped on my foot with his two front paws. They were very cute Armadillos.
