I found this huge house at SA.It is made from wood , very sturdy and heavy. I beat a guy to it by seconds! It is a replica of my childhood home in Germany.Obvously it still needs a lot of work, wall paper, bedding, curtains.

I go to the surgeon tomorrow, & expect he will clear me to go back to work on Tuesday, sooooo...I promised I would show some of the sweet things Lynn had sent that kept me occupied this week. I especially love the little accessories, so I couldn't wait to put these things in...just LOOK at the tiny coat hooks! There were wonderful little shelveset, and a beautiful folding screen. My Victorian has a large porch across the back, that I have not yet done anything with because I need...

Link Here's a site that may interest many here - and leave a few drooling I think. The lady lives in my home town of Kingston, Ontario Canada and she has compiled an extensive list/information/pictures of dollhouses and accessories from the late 1800's to the late 1900's. There are ads for many houses, furniture and accessories as well. Enjoy!! Lydia

I was at a garage sale today and found this in a gladware container. I couldn't believe it, what a bizarre thing to make in miniature! I purchased it from an avid dollhouse and antique doll collector, she was a delight! And she had the most incredible stuff! I'm really only posting for opinions, to see what everyone thinks. But I might consider listing it... I haven't decided yet. a href="Link a href="Link

I was finally able to rescue my doll houses from storage in the closet! This one is a replica of a Bavarian "landhouse"(country style home).I need to re-do the floors, fix a minor repair on the wood trim and make curtains I rescued this doll house shell from a thrift shop.It was painted in garish yellow and green.I re-painted it and added the wood trim

In regard to Lynns question on the db, nope, no wiring in my houses (yet ) but I have been trying to make some light fixtures, just for the look. Mostly working with beads. Kitchen light for my 30's/40's house: and a simple bead chandelier for the living room: I bought this purse, to try to remove the beads to make a chandelier for my Victorian: and was THRILLED to find this! I still think I will try to add some "crystal" drops to it: Since it just has a jewelers...

Does anyone have any info,or know where to find it, on a Renwal clear plastic dollhouse? It's about 24" long,11 and 1/2" wide,2 story,16" high at side peaks, and the back slides open and off to play with the furniture. It has an emblem in gold on the front that says Renwal Tru-Scale. I can't seem to find anything like this with Google, and wondering if it's a Renwal salesman's display possibly? Thanks for any help!

I really, REALLY miss you guys, & am enjoying Lynns thread on the ddb so much that I wanted to try to get things going a bit here again. I LOVE futzing with my doll houses SO much, & seeing yours brings me almost as much pleasure. I realize most of us have "finished" houses (if there is such a thing) but we still find little accessories to add, or re-arrange, it doesn't have to be dramatic for me to enjoy the details. SO, please post about any new things you've found. I will also post a...
