There are changes upcoming to eBay picture hosting over the next few months that we are announcing here today. Copy Web Files uploader on SYI Later this month, we're introducing a new upload option for eBay-hosted item pictures. It's called "Copy Web Files" and appears as a new tab in the Add Pictures window on the Sell Your Item form. Starting a few weeks ago and continuing for the next few weeks, we’re making several enhancements to eBay picture hosting services on the site and in selling tools. The changes should make uploading pictures easier and more reliable, and improve picture quality in many cases. Updated 10/11/2006: We have deployed a fix to improve compatibility of Picture Services uploads in AOL 9 Security Edition. In testing, we confirmed that the fix allows uploads with Basic and Enhanced services at AOL's default software settings. eBay is extending the shutdown period for eBay Picture Manager to after the end of January, 2010. Current subscribers will receive an e-mail confirming this change and site pages that currently display the shutdown date as after "August, 2009" will change within the next day or so to display "January, 2010". I keep getting an error message when attempting to add a photo to an auction. The message says URL can not contain spaces. I tried reformatting the pic to a smaller size but I still receive the same message. Any other suggestions

What's going on? Each time I place a photo with the listing I get "images are not optimal". Same photos as always, is this something new? Also a lot times when I relist the photo doesn't copy and I get a message 'sometimes' that eBay had a problem with a photo. Does anyone experience the same? My computer (windows vista) is having problems viewing listings on ebay. The discriptions are missing, only the listing picture is shown, and the page tab on the right hand side is very small with pages of blank space between the start and finish of the listing. This includes my own for-sale items. When I am on the listings page, all of my information, pictures, and data is there, but when viewed I have the same problem. when you go to look at a picture and want to enlarge IT DOES NOT ENLARGE IT, JUST GOES TO ANOTHER WINDOW. GOES TO SHOW OLD SYSTEM IS BETTER AGAIN. NOT IMPRESSED WITH DIRECTION THE FORMAT HAS GONE, NOT USER FREINDLY ANYMORE.

I have always taken pics of my items with a cell phone, I know, its not the best way, but I have never had a problem before with them coming out clear. All of a sudden they are very pixely. I have tried to fix them, but can't seem to find anywhere how I change the resolution for each pic. Can someone help. I havent been selling on ebay lately because my pics are not coming out clear.

Does anyone else use Village Photos and have you been getting a security warning the last few days saying that their website has a Trojan virus? All 200+ eBay images I had hosted by Village Photos have disappeared from my listings.
