Hi All, Previously on Half.com, if an item was added by a buyer to their shopping cart, the seller could no longer see and manage that inventory. The inability to manage this inventory often resulted in orders being processed on behalf of the seller with refunds initiated by the seller if he/she could no longer fulfill the orders. Whenever we cmark an order as "shipped" it goes to an error page... what do we do about that, especially since HDC has no phone support and can take a year or two to reply to e-mails?

Half just deleted hundreds of my items saying the description did not match the quality listed. Most were new DVDs with the following description "NEW: Unopened and factory-sealed HD DVD. Official Region 1 (US & Canada) release." The others were product approriate variations - " factory-sealed HD-DVD" "factory-sealed VHS" etc What in the world is wrong with that? We've been using that description for years?

I've been listing on Half and eBay for years. I just went out and rented a barcode scanner so I can list tons more books, cds and dvds. I'm running into more complainers on Amazon in one month than I ever had on eBay. Yesterday I posted on AZ's discussion board for the first time. The people responding were so mean and condescending. I got responses such as "Go back to eBay". Why do they think they are so special? It just another way for us sellers to sell stuff.

I received an email from the the Chargeback division requesting tracking/delivery confirmation.... I sent my sale via USPS Media Mail and I did not purchase delivery confirmation. I do have the receipt showing I sent it out.. Would my USPS receipt be sufficient enough? Is there anything I could do to make sure I am my legitimate sale is not debited from my account?

Ok so I bought a game on half.com uncharted 2 that was 3 weeks ago, it still has not been shipped, I tried to contact the seller 4 times and still no response, I have paid for it and it was processed. The memo the seller has on his page say the seller is on vacation it's been like that for ever. I think Iam getting screwed here and dont know what to do. It says Iam suppose to wait till dec3 for it to be shipped but if I would of known that I would of never got it, dosnt make much sense and not...

So I place an order on 11/2, accepted (or whatever the term is) by seller on 11/3. I live an hour from the seller. It's being shipped via media mail. I sent an email mid-last week asking for a status. I'd heard nothing. On 11/21, (19 days after order placed) I get a refund from the seller, indicating that they were "waiting on" the item to ship it, were unable to do so, and are thus refunding my money. I sent to emails to sellerpayment@half.com. I have not received a reply. I have tried to verify/update my checking account information, but am unable to do so. I have only had two checking accounts for the last 15 years. Neither of the account numbers are being accepted on the verification page. I have not been able to contact a live person over the phone. I've wanted to ask about this for some time, but never really had a problem with it until now. I have at least two repeat buyers, both of whom are power sellers with high feedback ratings. I figured out that they have set themselves up as middlemen using my inventory to make third-party sales. How does this work, and does it violate HDC policy? Neither seller has any standing inventory on HDC, so I assume they're listing and selling through Amazon or another platform, adding a price point to...

Found something kinda strange while perusing the Sell it Now offerings -- when I checked out the books on Half.com, I found a number of them listed for less than the Sell it Now offered price (for instance some books will a $3.99 Sell it Now offer were already priced at 75 cents to $1). I can understand that the person with the Sell it Now offer may have intended his/her Sell it Now price for only a Like New or Brand New book (and not a cheaper but lower grade book) -- but occasionally...

I have been selling on half.com for almost ten years now and I mostly buy my books at book sales that I find at booksalefinders.com. When ever I go to these sales there are people there with scanners. I am just wondering what you do with these scanners and as a bookseller is it worth investing in one?

Good morning! I've been a "lurker" on these forums and I've learned a great deal from some of you who have a lot more experience than I do - thank you! Now I have a question of my own. I'm going to be spending the Thanksgiving holiday with family in a very rural part of Iowa.
