Vintage LAMP measures 29" to the top of the finial. Black bottom base cast of metal, has royal purple felt glued to the bottom. Has dk.brown plastic cord, all is in very good shape. Parts look to be made of metal, brass and the sphere wire is very strong (un-moveable steel?) and painted black. Link ~~Wondering what the value of this lamp could be? Any ideas as to where / how to look up the maker? There is nothing like this in the MCM books I have looked at. It reminds me of the...

Can anyone help me with this set? It looks like it would be considered mid century modern due to the lines it has but I thought I should post it here and get all of your opinions on it. There are two tables, one is slightly smaller but they both have the same design. Both tables have glass top inserts which were not put in for the photos. There are matching chairs which I have shown one in my photo. Could this set possibly have been made by Woodard? Or if not, any guess at who the maker...

Has anyone successfully restored these chairs? I have 4 that I'd like to have done, but I'm not sure how to do it. some say to powdercoat, but I don't know if the original rislan coating can be removed. Others say spray paint, but then I hear that looks awful. Any experience out there?

Hello All- Hope I'm in the right place for my question. I saw a partial 1960s set of "Break o Day" with rooster and chicken.. lots of serving pieces included, i.e. carafe, cream and sugar bowls. Is this worth picking up for resale.... the price is right. Just don't know if poultry is still desirable !!! Any ideas or should I just forget it ? Any ideas are much appreciated since I have none ! Hi. I just purchased a rosewood recliner and ottoman with light blue tweed fabric on the removeable cushions. This chair is in like new condition with a little discoloring on the head of cushion that I'm planning to have drycleaned. This chair is so comfortable and just beautiful. It has 5-6 recline positions and can lay almost flat like a bed. I have not been able to find this chair anywhere. Is anyone familar with a LIED MOBLER Chair and if so how much would it sell for on ebay? I would...

Hi, Need help with this framed glass piece. Has anyone heard of Thrasher? This really reminds me of the 60s- early 70s tree patterns that were popular wall hangings, but I've never seen one like this. Just wondering if anyone has any info on the artist, or any other info. TIA!

I'd appreciate any inklings anyone here has. I've come into several items designed by Georges Briard (little and LARGE glass 'trays' and some dynamite glass casseroles) and some Couroc glassware. I usually list under the Pottery and Glass category, but wonder whether that is really working for me. I know there's a slump overall - what I'm wondering is weather there is still generally interest in these items and whether I shld be listing specifically as mcm? TIA
