Just found Motorcycle Blvd. Love it. Just started riding the beginning of summer. Started on a 1982 Virago 750. Great learner bike. Husband had a Vulcan 800 and he finally let me ride it. So now I have a Vulcan 800 and he went to a Vulcan 1500 Classic. Tried several different bikes. So what do the rest of the ladies have & some experiences from riding? Went on my first LONG ride to Niagara Falls from Southern Kentucky. Great ride (yep we rode, didn't trailer).

What's the best way to get bugs (and their guts) off my windshield without scratching it? The bike sat up for a while and I guess the bug stuff really baked in or something. What's the best material to use and least abrasive cleaner? I would prefer to use a household item as I live in a rural area and it would be a drive to get the a shop for some speciality cleaner. Thanks

Wow. two 10 day ebay motors no reserve auctions, and two worthless, non-paying winning bidders!!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS to ME!!! Contact info for both parties that ebay has is all false. Numbers are disconnects, and they do not even have the decency to respond! Why is someone at ebay not trying to fix this!!!! Easy solutions in my opinion are: 1. if you want to bid on an ebay motors vehicle auction, you must register with either PAYPAL or with a credit card the amount of $500 which...

Trident's 2nd picture in his "In the Wind" thread got me to wondering if anyone has tried putting chains on their bike for winter riding and how the bike handled. I used to ride all winter in NE Ohio back in my younger days (had no car) on a '72 Honda CL350 with stock street tires. Needless to say, I took a few spills during that time. Luckily, the snow and ice are slipperier and softer than asphalt, and with all of the extra clothing, I was never injured. Maybe time has dulled my memory, but I...

I just sold my 2003 Heritage Classic and have been tracking listings on E-Bay for two months now. A big majority of the listings go unsold, and some that do sell come back on as the buyer didn't go thru with the sale. I would say less than 10% result in a successful sale. And when relisted often don't get a bid as high as the first time. Try looking at this from a buyers standpoint. We know how to research Kelly Blue Book and NADA pricing guidelines. We want a fair value for our money,...
