I list correspondence, letters, and other paper items. I recently listed a letter that was addressed to Beaver Dam Depot, Virginia. It got kicked off for gross misrepresentation...When I asked why, I got the standard check this or that link, but no definitive answer. The town is a legitimate old town, and yet I realize the name could be offensive to some. Should I try relisting the item and leave the town name off, or misspell the name, tho the picture would have the town name? Any...

I have tried to sell Hello Kitty (real hello kitty) necklaces before and got suspended from Ebay. Yet I see other listings for HK that say "we are licensed" and it be okay. How do I get licensed to sell these? Thanks

Hello to all, I hope this is the right place to ask this. I won auction 130344659928 a few minutes ago (I think it was a 9 day auction) and there were 2 bidders. The auction closed and I won the item, and I got the email from Ebay notifying me that I had won. One minute after the auction ended, the seller sent me an email saying that due to the Ebay search system being down, he is cancelling all bids on this item and will be relisitng this week. Some ebay seller stole photos of my motorcycle off another website and is using my photo to sell his parts. The part on my bike is over $500 and is a Corbin....the part he is selling is some generic aftermarket part not worth anywhere close to mine. I've reported this to ebay.....and they wont do anything. I get BS excuses. I even quoted their own copyright infringement policies to them. They wont respond. I asked the seller to remove the photo...and he ignores me. While this is not...

I sold an item and put insurance on it. With USPS insurance, you can't track it online. So apparently my buyer thought he could get away with saying he didn't receive it. But I was able to call my post office, give them the insurance number, and they let me know it was delivered on November 16th around 3PM. I shipped it November 12th. It is obviously now November 24th. The buyer kept claiming not to have received it, but after I told him what my post office told me, he hasn't responded....

Hi What does eveybody think about sellers being responsible for items until they reach the buyer. I think that is unfair as I can not follow the item after it is turned over to the shipper. I have had items that i put delivery confirmation on and then the post office lost them. I was found at fault and had to refund the money. I do not think that i should be responsible for shippers errors. What do you all think on that.

So I win the auction and the seller tells me that he is not going to complete the transaction because the items didn't go high enough (no reserve) which is not my fault. In reviewing the seller's history, he did the same thing with the same items before. All he did was relist the item. What should/can I do?

I bought a book listed as brand new. Item 110443386358. The book appears to be unread, but the dustjacket is so worn that the blue is now white around the edges of the book. I contacted the seller and they will refund if I send the book back, but the cost of sending it back will be almost what I paid for the book. What are my options? The book was intended to be a gift.

I LIST AN ITEM BY NAME, FOR SALE. EBAY REMOVES THE LISTING,TELLS ME IT VIOLATES POLICY. I RE-LIST , OMITTING THE PRODUCT NAME. EBAY REMOVES THE LISTING. MY SELLER RATING, AS IT APPLIES TO COMPLIANCE DROPS TO "LOW". EBAY SAYS , "I SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE OF "THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS" OF THIS OVERSEAS COMPANY ! SO TWO STRIKES AGAINST ME! The seller I brought a MP3 from sent me one and the thing broke two days after I got it their return policy says that I have 14 days after I get it to return it if something happened and it did and the policy said to fill out something called a RMA and i can not find it any where! Where is it?

i sold my first item on ebay today. the winning bidder soon emailed me, then shortly after I started receiving emails from paypal with payment confirmation numbers. i offered free shipping to the winning bidder, but she offered an additional $60 added to the sales price if i would ship it overseas. no problem. so i mailed the item, emailed paypal the tracking number like the email from paypal asked for me to. As sellers our feedback is there for all to see. Shouldn't buyers that have unpaid strikes be exposed as well?How about a level playing field E-bay? What do you sellers say?

Yeah, I read about ebay adding advertising for other items to our sold item pages. Now I am not so happy with it. They advertise almost EXACTLY what the buyer just purchased. Of the items I saw displayed, six were for the EXACT same item - and two of them were CHEAPER than our buyer had paid. That is a great formula for irritating a buyer - showing a lower price right after they commit a purchase. If ebay is going to advertise, they should at least make sure they are showing the buyer...

I recently won an auction on the 16th. I paid the 18th. Is this an unreasonable amount of time to pay? The seller emailed me twice on the 17th demanding I pay. I WORK FOR A LIVING and do not have access to Ebay at work. I also commute and stay when I work, so don't have access for the entire time I'm there. I have a very reasonable explanation as to why I didn't pay IMMEDIATELY! I have NEVER run into this problem the many years I have been buying on EBAY. Anyone venture a guess on the "proper...

I know there are many of you that bought from Disney recently and did not get your order. It is against ebay policy to sell something that you don't have. Disney also has 45 negative feedback in the past month. If anyone else did this they would be off ebay!
