Hello, When the seller has a "reserve" on the price, I think that should be shown on the search page (reserve not met). Its another waste of time to go into that site just to see its not the beginning or current bid price. Maureen

For three or four days now, the search function has been screwed up. When I search for an item using titles and descriptions, it does not return nearly the number of items that it should. Then, if I search the same item using just titles, it actually shows quite a few items that did not show up when I searched with titles and descriptions. How messed up is that? And like I said, there are very few items relatively speaking that are showing up when I do my search compared to normal. Is eBay...

I lost an auction, no biggie, but clicked on the "View Similar Items" link for a search and 80 % of the listings (it's a standard 50 count) are all "Buy it Now" stuff, very few actual running auctions. I treied another item and the same results. Before the "New & Unimproved" Ebay, it was the complete opposite, and I actually got items that were similar in teh search rather than Light Bulbs results for a Similar to Pencils search. What's going on here ??????????????

Here is a problem I noticed yesterday. If I click on ANY of my items in MyEBay or in, feedback, etc. I get "This seller is not currently offering any items for sale". I have 40 active listings, well 39 now. I posted this on the technical boards and another user told me to post here because they see exactly what I'm talking about. When I'm looking at a lot of similar items, it would be useful to know which ones I'm watching without having to look at each listing. Perhaps some notification or icon could pop up in the list of search results to save time from checking an item already being watched. An eyeball? A big red W?

Each time I search using my Ebay tool bay for items.....for some reason US $ show up its driving me nuts. I go to the main site page and am still on the UK site page whats going on? Thanks

I would like to search everything for sale within a 25 mile radius of my zip code. I have tried advanced search with the following settings: Enter keywords or item number (I Left This Field Blank) Items within (I Selected 25) miles of Zip or Postal Code (I Entered My Zip Code) The problem is that it takes me to a page that forces me to select a category. I don't want to select a category, I'd rather browse everything for sale in my area. Any ideas how I can do this???

Keyword searching for "All words, any order" does not seem to be working. Has anyone been able to get to the bottom of this phenomenon? I just tried with Live Help & got nowhere. For example: I put in COACH BROWN TOTE, and the first 7 items that appear (out of hundreds, unhelpfully) are: Coach~VINTAGE~Brown"LEXINGTON" Duffle BAG Tote Purse Coach CHELSEA LEATHER LARGE HOBO TOTE 12338 MINT $298 COACH~CLASSIC~XL"DOE"Leather HUGE SoHo Duffle TOTE BAG Coach Leather zip Tote...

Forgive me if this has been posted, but 113 pages of previous questions is a little daunting. I can't seem to find a way to set my search default to "available to: Canada" (or even worldwide for that matter) and find it quite frustrating sifting through the countless "America Only" sales. I realize one can go into an advanced search to do that, but why is it not a default option? Surely non-Americans count for a significant amount of sales on eBay even if some Americans don't see it that...

Hopefully this is just temporary, but BIN auctions no longer show the red and black whoosh icon for BIN. It's just plain text. Makes it very hard to discern auctions from BIN. Oddly, the logo still appears on auctions I'm watching. But it's definitely gone in search results...checked with 2 different browsers. Noticed some other interface changes, so maybe someone was mucking about in the pics directory? Please bring back the BIN logo!

Can a seller put "Compare to" in the title, or subtitle, of their listing? For example, I know of an item that is made by at least 2 different manufacturers, but is the same identical item--just named differently and colored differently. I have owned both items. Thanks for an answer!

Under BM the entire first page of any category is nothing but FREE SHIPPING listings. That's for settings that show 25-50 listings per page. Regular, non-free-ship listings may not show until page 2, 3 or 4. If you set the display to show 100-200 listings, the Free Shipping listings occupy the first 70% of the page, then the non-free listings are shown. This is happening in the A&C categories as well, which are supposed to have more focus on time-ending. Previously, the free-ship listings...

Is it just me or are others having trouble getting 200 items per page to stick? I bookmark a search set to 200 items and later that bookmark will sometimes give me 200 per page, and sometimes 25. When it gives me 25 I click on "customize view" it shows that it is set to 200 even though it just gave me only 25. Am I missing something?
