Does ebay think I'm STUPID or what. That I cant remember what I looked at and why the &*^(&*^(*&^ should I care I can click my OWN WATCH BUTTON thank you ebay morons. Yet another huge waste of time downloading a bunch of CLUTTER on search pages. I have enough clutter on my desk I don't need more. What ever happened to keep it simple keep it fast? NOW ALL WE HAVE IS GARBAGE IN AND GARBAGE OUT!!! Yet another EBAY WHACK to my smiley face. Anyone seen the first aid kit?

I am sick to death of having to 'redo' my preferences multiple times a day to get rid of this garbage Best Match!!!!!! It's asinine, brings up random things that have absolutely NOTHING to do with what is searched for. eBay must have the IQ of a brick to not pay attention to what people post on these boards! The option to 'OPT OUT' should be available!!

Has anyone evr figured out how "best match"is determined. For me it is a hodge podge of things I would never consider buying and would seldom even look at. Makes me wonder, best match for who or what?

OK, I have only had 5 sales in the last week. Normally I get about that many on average a day. It has been like this for me for several weeks now. Look at this screenshot of a specific search where I have more of this particular item than anyone else on ebay. Do the search yourself, you will see. Do a search for "Cricket Cell Phone" Using Best Match, which should really be called "Best Mixup". I have about 55 items that show up in the search of about 675 items. I have raised search and nearly...

As a long time eBay user, mostly as a buyer, I see "best match" as one more giant leap away from the eBay as an exchange between private individuals, and toward larger industrial sellers. It's like the difference between a local market and a mall of national chain stores. I use eBay to find rare 19th century porcelain dinnerware. I have refined my search techniques for over ten years. I don't like being subject to the same changes that are intended to funnel a newbie buyer to a favored...

Just did a search for Xbox 360 aerosmith bundle. I narrowed the search down to Brand New. Looking at what comes up, I'm finding ones listed as Like New in the Item Specifics Box. Why do they give you the option to narrow a search for Brand New & Like New if they're going to let both show up? If I choose Brand New then that's what I expect to show up.

"FROND" When I want to find a "FROND", I do not mean a "Front". GET IT?...??? C'mon eBay...YOU 'live' in California (well, for today anyway). You should certainly know what a 'FROND' is. (BIG HINT: LIKE, A "PALM FROND", for example...)

long time member but intermitent user-so recently discovered that e-bay seems to have changed things again. my problem is that when i try to use the "distance" feature on settings from my location that all it says is distance with no place to put the details.clicking onto the site is unresponsive. On another problem that maybe helpful to know about-whenever i scroll down to the bottom of the listings page and click on "next" or the page numeral, it seems to always pop up to the top of the page...

Is anyone else having trouble getting ebay to save their search preference? When I get daily emails I click the "show all results..." link and the search comes up with "Ending Soonest". I have clicked "Customize Display" and set the prefernce to "Newly Listed" countless times but the next day it sorts by "Ending Soonest" again. I'm using Internet Explorer 7 if that matters. Anyone have a solution? Thanks Lou

I have noticed recently with all the changes, you now see @ the top of the Categories a link to "Opt-Out" of the New Search. Have any of you EVER Clicked this? If you have / do like I have you will notice that MORE auctions show up! This tells me that eBay is Filtering some auctions out for some reason of another. From time to time I put an Item up as a "Featured Item" which means it should stay prominent in the top portion of a Category. After all, I pay for that to be there. Yet, I...

I would like to know how the new search menus are coded, and what the h*ll is wrong with traditional drop-down menus. Ebay can hijack all my searches worse than a terrorist on an airplane, and they will learn nothing of value to their little experiment because I cannot use the menus at all. I can opt out a million times, but they will not know why, except that I loathe the d*mn thing. If they are using ActiveX or Flash and this becomes standard, that is the end of my eBay activities. I will...

Recently we added “Price: High to Low” sort back as a buyer-optional search. We heard from buyers that “Price: High to Low” is a helpful sort option, particularly when shopping for high-value items like vehicles or heavy equipment. As a result, “Price + Shipping: High to Low”, “Price + Shipping: Low to High”, and “Price: High to Low”, are all available in the “Sort by” pull down box at the top of the Search Results page for most categories. “Price: Low to High” has not been added back,...

For approx. 2 weeks now my searches are supposed to be "raised", but guess what? I have had the absolutely, positively WORST sales in 9 YEARS in these last 2 weeks! Is this another joke from eBay? I myself am suspicious that they want to get rid of Powersellers so they don't have to cut sellers their 15% discount that we EARN. Give us crappy sales for a month so we lose our P/S status, and have to pay full fees. Then we have to fight the next month to get our status back to P/S. Ebay...
