Greetings, Thank you all for the great posting on the Toys board and please keep them coming! While many people on this board are familiar to each other by user names or first names, I thought it might be nice if we each took a moment to introduce ourselves. I will start - please respond with a little about your self as well. My name is Aashish (it's an old Hindi word literally meaning "blessing", my parents probably re-thought that name in my teen years ), and I am one of the...

A recently deceased neighbor's daughter was cleaning out the house last weekend...as she was putting junk on the curb, I was picking it up and putting in my garage! One of the boxes had about 7 train cars from what I believe are early 50's American Flyer Model RR - in dirty, poor condition....most have rusty bottoms, missing parts and are filty. The engine is just a shell...inside parts are long gone. The ones that look good on the side and outside...are rusty on the bottom...My searches have...

I recently came across what I belive to be a Lionel # 50 pre war standard gauge locomotive/engine in a large collection that we purchased. It has been partialy restored & repainted so it has no decals. It is very similar to the #33 that has very small holes in the 4 vents. This one has the larger holes in the vents. If it is in fact a #50 it would have only been built in 1924 v/s the #33 built from 1918-1923 and should have more value. Any help on identy and value would be appreciated. Link

Hi all, I am getting ready to list more old model kits and wondered if any of you might know an answer to a nagging question regarding one in particular. The kit is a WW2 German Steyr tractor which comes with a second kit of a Nebelwerfer 41. The kit is from a company called Peerless and made in the 70's in Japan. The detail of this kit is incredible and reminds me of the excellent kits produced by Tamiya. The Japanese people are kind of funny as far as honor goes as like they produced Datsun...

I have a Marx Robot & Son toy with the original box and in excellent condition, but haven't a clue how much it is worth since I don't collect them. I just happened upon at a recent estate sale, fortunately. I've tried searching the net, but didn't have much luck. Any info would be appreciated.

The number of counterfeit items seems to be getting larger every day for Thomas and Friends items from China. Anyone else notice this? xiguang6688 started the trend, I have been reporting them but no response from ebay or learning curve.

Hi -- has anyone here ever heard of a long-ago toy manufacturer "Clee"? (It's definitely "Clee," not "C. Lee.") Almost certainly a US manufacturer, but could be Canadian or British. Circa 1930s. Anybody? Any clue at all would be a big help.

I would like to sell a vintage (?) ambulance on EBay but am unsure of the makers mark. It's an "A" with a swirl located on the bottom of the car. It is made of tin and is fairly detailed. I would appreciate it if anyone could educate me on the manufacturer and it's approximate age. Thanks so much!
