I am uninformed about this point and would like a solution to this situation. In order to be responsible for item shipping, an assistant must be in possesion of the item being auctioned. This requires extra shipping as well as insurance for effective selling and delivery. What alternate strategy could be effective while keeping costs within the original amount for the present seller-buyer scheme? Thanks numiserrorpr

Hi, I have begun to sell items for other on my account and am using a consignment agreement that I have put together myself. Is there one available on line, or do I need to purchase a program that will include this item? Thanks, Susan

Bought a baby-monitor from seller and received it, not working, the antenna was missing from receiver and not in the box it was shipped in. Made contact with seller and returned the item to him. Now he denies refund because he claims item was not in the same condition as when he sent it. So now he has both item and payment... what can be done?

Having been a member for over 10 years now, I would expect, not hope, but expect some respect from ebay. I was jolted to find out my numbers dipped a tad below quota by a generic email. How about giving people a 30 day notice? A little courtesy, so that I could have easily corrected. Not happy.

Out here (and I reside in a major city) many power sellers were finding Trading Assistants and consigning faulty, as-is, counterfeit, and returned merchandise (dead merchandise) with them. Many of the TA’s fell for the scams and by the time the scam was discovered the consignor was long gone, and the cell phone # given was a prepaid and the TA was left holding the bag, this was so wide spread that many eBay stores had to close down completely. Local Law Enforcement did not want to get...

Just curious if any one received these yet? I got this email back on 6/15: Congratulations! This email is to confirm that you will be receiving a FREE tradeshow sign from the Seller Development Team. Signs will be mailed out on June 17 and should arrive within 5-7 business days. Please do not respond to this email; we regret that with the volume of emails we receive, we will not be able to respond to your inquiry individually. Thank you and best of luck this summer! Sincerely,...

Hi, Given that there has been a fair number of questions pertaining to which pink manages which board, I wanted to offer a quick clarification. In the past when the community was smaller than it is today, each board was managed by a particular Community Development pink (staff member). As the Community grew, this became less and less feasible. Although you may see posts from particular pinks, there is no longer a particular pink managing each board. We have continued to develop...

Dear Trading Assistant, I am writing to make you aware of an important new book that recently landed on my desk. In my opinion, it is not only a ‘must read’ for every Trading Assistant, but a powerful tool for growing your business. FutureShop is the first book to examine how eBay is impacting our consumer culture not just online, but offline as well. It forecasts that as a result of the recent growth of trading assistants, we are rapidly approaching a tipping point which is...
