Fashion Week starts this Thursday, and I am going completely nuts. Sending begging emails for invites, being invited for all sorts of things from sublime to ridiculous, trying to figure out what to wear (AAAH!). I'm not sure what else to write. I'm waiting to hear from a bunch of shows, and I might (emphasis on might) get into the Project Runway show. I hired a great assistant, and a bunch of designers are making me outfits and hats. Just how old might this Pendleton 49er be? It's my first 49er find, I'd never even heard of these jackets until I visited this board! Sorry about the poor photo quality. I can get my camera to take pretty good close-ups, but the full length shots are looking blurrier and blurrier!

Happy Monday! I have had these since the 90s, poured over them too many times to count, but now I'm ready to pass them on Lots of interesting articles and great for mid-60s reference material. Thank you all for taking the time to look - I'll post some pics in the next post. The zipper is metal and the pull has the word "Coed" on it. The fabric feels like drapery, heavy and stiff and rough on the outside, shiny and smooth on the inside. There is a backing on the skirt inside, sort of like felt (gee is it really obvious I have no idea what I'm talking about???). The back has this interesting "train" feature. Hi everyone - Is there a way to view completed listings PAST the last 2 weeks? I know you can do it through goofbay if you have the seller's name but I don't have the name. Is there a way if you sign up for some Ebay marketing thing? I'm at the point where I would pay for the service. We are having problems w/ a KNOWN Ebay scammer who has gotten around our block list with yet another NEW ID who is claiming to have problems w/ 370317502558. I asked that Int'l buyers contact me before submitting PayPal payment: she didn't. I state that I will not ship to unconfirmed PayPal addresses, she's not. She BIN'd and paid. She's a heavy eBay buyer so I'm hoping she'll do the right thing and submit the balance of the shipping. The BBC website today has a dark little jpeg of the pattern on the pinafore found with a skeleton wrapped in a carpet in Manchester. I thought I would try and clarify and enlarge it. If you recognise the pattern and its date please contact GMP www.gmp.police.uk Please only do so if you have certain knowledge, such as "I bought one in 1968"; don't fill their inbox with mumblings about it being "'Sixties but then again it could be 'Thirties".

Anyone else having issues with your store disappearing. One page said please refresh your browser and service not available, but in a nutshell if I click on my store it says store does not exist and if I click on my username it says userid does not exist. AUGH! WTH? But obviously I am still here... so maybe just a weird glitch. Will check again in the morning...
