I just came across this Hamilton watch and was wondering if this is collectible. It does have the Hamilton logo on it and Pat Pending on the bottom. The pictures kinda suck, watch looks much better in person. Couldn't find a comparable on ebay. Please help. Thanks

I have an old (1960's..) Big Ben Westclox. See pics. The alarm winds up and goes off loud and clear when you move the alarm set to the time showing on the clock. But it does not run to keep time. There only seems to be one wind-up key in the back which I used to re-wind the alarm. Is that one single key also supposed to wind up the timekeeping? Or is there some other way to wind this clock? I appreaciate any help that anyone might be able to provide.

My aunt left this watch to my mom and dad and I am trying to find out about it. Do the numbers on the back case mean anything? I am not a jewelry person so any help you can give me would be appreciated. It looks like it has 9 diamonds across the top and bottom and 7 on each side. The number on the back is 9361 223649 I know the band is a replacement and I believe that the original band is in the phot (the top band). Thanks.

I need help identifying movement in Bingham & Walk pocket. The watch has a high grade Swiss movement. I believe it to be a Patek Philippe movement. What has me puzzled is the hallmark on the case looks like Patek Philippe but movement doesn't look like any Patek I have seen before. I know Bingham & Walk used Patek movements in the late 1880's. The serial # indicates the correct time frame. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I'm a regular on the jewelry board, but for this it was recommended I come here and ask for some advice. I purchased a Tag Heuer watch at a Women Of The Church Rummage Sale last weekend. The members of this church are mostly well-to-do Society folks...if that makes a difference. I have listed the watch starting at $19.95 simply because I'm a blithering idiot when it comes to watches...have NO knowledge whatsoever. While I was talking with some people on the jewelry board about...

Anybody knows how to determine between replica / counterfeit nad original manufactured / genuine brand new TAG HEUER watches ??? Please, also advise me whether safe and secure or not purchase brand new TAG HEUER from AUTHENTIC WATCHES because they do not arrange for the free 2 years international authorized TagHeuer Warranty rather than their own store' s Warranty.

Hello, I can't find any information as to why Mernod Jaccard Jewelry Co. is on the dial of this Waterbury Clock. Is this rare? I can't find another like it. The ones that I see by Waterbury do not have any writing on the face. I gave a description over the telephone to a clock dealer/repairman. He told me that it's a French made. However, he seemed puzzle when I told him that the inside mechanisim says Waterbury. Thanks for your help. ...

I have several designer watches that I'd like to post on ebay, but they all need new batteries. I'd rather not spend the money to put new batteries in them before selling, as they might not sell and the money will go to waste. What is your experience in selling watches which need new batteries? Thanks

While looking through all of the watch listings most people listing restored or at least cleaned up watches say that the watch keeps good time. Some sellers have disclaimers stating not to expect new watch accuracy, so my questions is: What would be considered good timekeeping for a good quality hand wind vintage wristwatch, Hamilton, Longines etc? Thank you in advance.
