USPS International Rates Offered Different than Ebay and Paypal?

Yesterday I had a 2lb 4oz package going to Canada. Normally don't ship Internationally, but had a request before auction ended. USPS gave me the price for First Class (under 4lbs) of $10.89. Sothis is the information I relayed. He won the item, but when I went to print Label after he paid, option of First Class DID NOT exist??? Only Federal Express and Priority, which both were double or more!!! So I had to DRIVE to the Post Office to physically mail the package.....WHY??? Obviously I have always hesitated shipping Worldwide because of extra forms and such, but opportunity for higher sales does exsist outside of US.

You can use Stamps.com to ship FCI right from your computer; and there is no subscription for eBay sellers. To read more about it, go to the International Trading, do a search and there you'll find a link (or just Google it).
Congrats on your international sale and Happy Selling!

USPS does not offer First Class International via PayPal shipping or USPS Click 'N' Ship.
I'm pretty sure they don't offer it on-line anywhere.
First Class International has no tracking/DC (neither do Flat Rate Envelopes).
First Class International is a pain in the butt, as it requires an often time-consuming wait in line, and no seller protection. As such, it's best to only offer it on lower cost items where you're willing to take the risk for the sale.
