Show Us Your Code...

Please don't post your code directly into this thread.
Instead, go to the HTML practice board -- Link
Type or copy/paste your code and/or text into the white box.

Press the SEE HTML button.

Wait for the page to refresh, then copy the new URL and post it back on this board.

Tell Us What You Want

Please tell us what you don't like about your page, what you are trying to do or what needs fixing, along with any other information (like your favorite colors).

Posting Your New Page

After we have worked on your code, we will post a new URL back here. Go to that URL. Please feel free to copy the code in the white text box and use it. Save it to a notepad document, as things don't stay up on the practice board forever.

Please note that your feedback/items for sale cannot be seen on the practice board, but if the special tags are in your code, it will display on your ME page.

Also please note that any images/backgrounds that we add to your page will have to be saved to your computer, uploaded to your own photo host and the tag in the code changed to your image host, as images on the uploader are only good for 48 hours.

Go to revise your ME page, select "enter your own HTML code," delete everything that is there, copy/paste your new code into the box, preview and submit. Voilá!

How do I set up a store on ebay to work with another online business I already have. I want to use ebay as a store not just as a selling tool. How do I go about doing all of this.

I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to get ebay to stop sending me mail. I know this is the wrong thread for my question, but like I said, I'm going crazy so any instructions (other than jumping off a cliff) would be appreciated. I'm going bonkers.

Tried to follow the rules/how to and it does not work......

Tried Ebay Customer Service.....They have no idea what they are talking about......

Wow....You would think Ebay could get something that was
so easy once and FIX it.... I can't even begin to tell you the response
I was getting...(ie ) You must use a public server since your ISP
does not have blah blah blah.... I have Verizon Online with MSN Premium......Windows Photo Gallery.etc.

Weird thing is I have no problem loading my pictures on my listing.
I just go into my picture file ....click...upload...done.

ABOUT ME PAGES ARE NOT WORKING EBAY......!!!

*USE OUR STEP BY STEP PROCESS IS OUT OF ORDER

*ENTER YOUR OWN HTML IS OUT OF ORDER ALSO.......

How about just posting one huge message: About Me Pages Are Currently Out of Order..........

I have a question. How do you get rid of "back to previous page" on the About Me page? Click on my About Me to see my dilemma. I just opened a new store and am trying to get my store header, auction templates, etc. in order before I start listing again. My About Me text is a work in progress, but this little issue has me at a standstill, and I am now seriously behind. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have my email program (Mozilla Thunderbird) sort all incoming messages into the folders I want them to be in. This is done by creating customized filters. eBay messages automatically go into a folder named "mail from ebay" customer replies go into another, PayPal payments received into another. I have 3 email addresses all being sorted. This may not be the answer your looking for but it may help.

My "Me" page does what I tell it to do. Just need to know some basic HTML other then copy&paste.

Hi,

I'm a bit new to this... ok... very new to this. So forgive me if my question is silly.

For my me page, can I use another service? I currently have a Nakea website manager site (Link) that has a lot of features like blogs, email marketing and automatic seo. And a lot of other things that are really useful for my business.

One really nice thing about it is that I don't need to know html. I am NOT a technical savvy person!

Thanks for your advice. I'm kind of jumping into ebay with my first post on this forum.

I was wondering how I can put a clickable link to my ebay store in the auction description. Is that possible? Also can I put a clickable link to my About Me page in my auction description? I'm pretty weak when it comes to this techie stuff so I really need to find a good tutorial that will teach me how to do this. Thanks for any help I can get.
