eBay just kicked me out as a Seller

I wish all eBay sellers would get together and Strike for at least one month. See what is going to happen next? See what is going to happen to their Stocks and standing....
We, sellers, made eBay Corp. one of the strongest Company in the whole World, but look what they do to us, seller. They allowed buyers to manipulate with Feedbacks and Disputes. By a such, eBay admires and invites more buyers to buy and punish those who made this Company.
My Score just before I've been kicked out was 1.03 for Item as Described and 2.07 for Shipping charges in the previous evaluation. However, my present Score for Item as Described is 0.80 and Shipping Charges 0.80 Does that seem good enough to remove me as a seller? I paid around $8,000 in fees to eBay and about $4,000 to PayPal in 2010. Now, they say goodbye to me! And look who I had last conversation with; a 20 year old, on line college student provides Customer Service for eBay and making decisions, telling me that I no longer good for eBay. Indeed, having 7,400 Positive Feedbacks and only 30 Negative Feedbacks in a period of 2.5 years made me a bad seller! Ha...
A guy was completely open minded with me saying, "if I sell I would never sell on eBay." Ask him why? And he said that my question was irrelevant. I guess these guys at the Headquarters know more than we do, sellers. They don't want to sell themselves, but want us to sell, pay fees and then get kicked off by college students. This is all about eBay! Isn't it a shame? Sellers are no longer allowed to protect themselves. In the beginning, they lowered DSR to 4%, then to 1% and 2%...Even if you sell 300 items a month, all it takes three attitude buyers to give you Not as Described and you already at the boarder line. Watch what is going to happen if you become unlucky and meet 4 nasty buyers. eBay will say goodbye to you as well. Do you think that 100,000 Positive Feedbacks would help? No way!
Few days ago, I sold an item to a buyer who used to be a seller herself. She said to me; "I had to leave eBay b/c I couldn't pay their fees and I got screwed by few buyers who turned situation against me. As a result, I lost $700 in three transactions." She was a very nice buyer, explaining and helping, and I had open heart for that woman.
Sellers get United, protect your interests and rights, or eBay will get the most out of you and then kick you out to the streets.
I had small income on eBay and was able to pay my bills. In this economic situation, I got kicked to the streets without any support. I don't know what am I going to do next or how will pay bills next month. Do you think eBay cares or that 20 year old college student from Customer Support? What if that would be his father kicked to the streets or any one from a Support? I no longer good for eBay and for eBay buyers, but who made this buyers the way they are right now - eBay itself!!! Who would be next boys, watch your behinds???

I'm with you. Ebay will not even respond to my emails. I've also been kicked off. Their rating system is very unfair. If I could rate them On communicaiton right now I would give them a 0. If they were measured on their own scoring system they would be out of buisness. Is there anything that can be done?

I agree! They are kicking me off for 1 negative feedback (I have 86 feedback). I'm very upset and they are screwing the whole community. It is a buyer oriented company now and they do not care about the people who sell. Total BS!

We were kicked off eBay this week, too. We have been a loyal seller for several years. Their "Buyer Protection" policy puts the seller in a corner. THEY DO NOT SUPPORT THEIR SELLERS!!! We, too, have paid eBay fees for years. Until eBay has competition, this will not change. Do not build your business around selling on eBay. The seller will end up losing and/or be totally stressed all of the time. In eBay's policy, the seller is the bad guy!

They definitely would be 0. eBay lives in a perfect world. We have had turnover changes in our business which admittedly cause problems with our service. We have made all the right changes to improve over the last 60 days. eBay does not understand the role of a seller. They are judge and jury without common sense.

I just got kick off as a seller, too. I was totally confused because I had restrictions (still not sure why) in April. So I waited it out and list a few things in May - which Ebay allowed. Then 2 days later, they removed my listing (which had watchers and bidders). I got two emails; one stating that my account is restricted (still don't know why) and another stating they removed my items. I looked at my dashboard and it stated that my account wasn't restricted. So I called up a customer support and got a young soft spoken male who put on hold for awhile to research my situation. I could tell he was nervous when speaking to me. But he told me that I have a 'buyer only' account now. He apologize that I did not get an email on this change. So even though I have sold over 2000 items and my feedback percentage is 99.6% with high marks on my DSR's, I cannot sell anymore.
I think the premise of Ebay has changed from the average person selling their unwanted stuff, to Super Sellers who sell a lot of stuff (like an online Big Lots). Ebay isn't making the big bucks from us because we don't sell 1000 items a day.

I have already started researching other auction sites to see what is available. I didn't sell on Ebay to make a lot of money. I thought it was a good way to be GREEN and recycle stuff.

Ebay, like other companies, start small and when they get big, they get greedy.

Off to another auction site for me.....

Been selling on eBay for a year with another company.Opened the eBay acct. and did everything from start to finish. In the year timeframe I had a  100% feedback rating (over 300 feedbacks but shipped over 600 orders).I left the company 3 weeks ago for a better offer and opportunity. This new company said they would open a Corp for me to run. After this was complete I opened an eBay account and store and began listing items they had laying around in the warehouse. Received 4 orders within the first 4 days and shipped the products immediately. 2 feedbacks came in and they were off the charts. Great new seller, fast shipping 5 *'s all the way. A week ago eBay shut down my 6 or so listings and said we are in violation of there terms and they need to see a drivers license, bank statement and invoice or receipt of merchandise. All items listed were in the health and beauty section and these items were also listed by other vendors. We supplied all documentation and received a reply back. Your account has been terminated and there decision is final. Your business model is unacceptable and they need to protect the eBay community. All further e-mails will be read but not replied to.

A great seller who never had 1 problem has been convicted

and thrown off of eBay for absolutely no reason at all.

I cancelled my personal account with eBay and so did my family members and friends. I have the impression it is easier for eBay just to kick people off whether they are good or bad before anything happens. In society we get a trial  to see whether we are guilty or not. In eBay society everyone that they deemed to be guilty IS......

I had a 99.3% rating with ebay and bacause i only had 2 stars for shipping time I was told I could no longer sell on ebay. On all my auctions I stated shipping would take 7-10 days b/c I only get to the post office once a week. But ebay said that did not matter. Honesty is still no good.

This sucks see eBid net

Considering the massive fraud and deception eBay allows sellers to get away with, if you were kicked out you probably did some pretty bad stuff.  You deserve it!!!  No doubt!!!

Thank you Ebay for protecting me as a buyer from flakes like this.  Give me  a break, these people were kicked out for a reason.  Your Ebay score is a reflection of your character or lack there of.  They are reluctant to toss you.  They make money off you.  You did something to deserve it.  Most of us when we have a bad experience say nothing and don't leave a feedback score at all.  Why?  Because you flakes hold your feedback for us hostage until you read your score we give you.  So for every negative you get there are likely approximately 10 more out there who just didn't say anything.
