OH MY GOODNESS! Look who just walked up our drive and into the garage. :O At least it's 35 degrees out right now and not 1 degree like the other day. Poor kitty. I'd hate to be out in this weather. :( I've seen this kitty around before, and believe he has a home in the area. He looks well fed (from seeing him from afar). But, I ran a little dry kitty food out to the garage for him. If he doesn't eat it, the garage opossums will! :) But, isn't he pretty?

Just fed new kitty. He was sitting by the food bowls shivering. :( Poor little (well kind of big) guy. Rick said he picked him up a few times last night and held him.

I think we're gonna try to put him in the sunroom tonight when Rick gets home. I don't want to try it alone especially if the neighbor's dogs are out and bark at us. Don't want a bunch of new scratches. LOL! And, I don't want to try to put him in a carrier myself. Chicken, aren't I?

Anyone got any ideas for a cool name for him? I like human names and you all have come up with some great ones in the past!

He likes his noms .... :-p Gotta get that last crumb .... Of course, I gave him some more! :)

Well, well .... I FINALLY got a call from C-Snip regarding my message that I left well over a week ago (I believe).

THIS lady was very nice and positive, and mentioned that she remembers seeing us there a few times! :) What a refreshing change from that other lady - who seemed to have a cloud of doom over her head - even through the phone! YIKES.

So, we can bring new kitty in on Tuesday with Bailey and Gabriel - and she will check with her supervisor on Monday to see if they can rustle up some discounts since they are stray kitties.

Her call really made my day! Been busy fixing up the sunroom for New Kitty with lots of help from furry little paws.

Almost time for a TGIF Baileys, ladies! I'll mix up a big batch for us tonight if you like!

Hope you all are having a very nice Friday!!

Madlyn says .... Well, isn't that special?

Hi Sunny, don't blame you about waiting for Rick, especially if the Dogs bark.

How about Satchel since he has such large Kabooms.:^O Or Moby.

Ok, big guffaws @ Satchel and Moby. :^O :^O

Too funny!

The two doggies in the back are out there. :O That could spell disaster if I even tried to carry him around the back to the sunroom. :O

Sunny, good news about the Csnip call. Did you happen to mention the negative tone of the other person? Or her advice to take to AC?

Could you possibly shove some Bailey's thru the puter to me, I am all out at the moment. Even the big bottle isn't enough, I think I need a keg!

Lynn, great that you got the tipper free! Don't you like it when people go out of their way to be nice & give a lil' extra for good service?

9K, that was a cool ol' pix, but sorry I don't see the house at all! Would have loved that. I should scan my parents wedding pix in puter. They really aren't bad, at least they are not standing there stiff with scowls on their faces like most really old wedding photos! I always have to LOL @ how unhappy they look being married!

Have found an EKG machine & not far. It's the same vet I had to take foster dog to, way back when. Price is nice too. You wouldn't believe some of the idiots I spoke to. Some didn't have a machine at all, my old vet wanted more than double for the test plus a $40 exam (uh, he was just examined by his own vet yesterday, don't need another exam!) other one said their machine isn't used much so they would have to 'see if they could get it running & figure out how to print the strip'. :_| So sticking with other one, which was 1st one I called. One place told me I would have to go to a heart specialist, & another wanted to know if blood work etc. was done yet. I'm sure they would have wanted to do it for me! It's all about how to make the bill bigger!!

MAX
he looks like a Max

brrr chilly here, not as warm as I thought it was gonna get

MK is in his fuzzy bed but no sign of the orange kitty. Last night it sounded like they were chasing each other but no meows or other noises.

off to let Jack out to roam around (by himself) and think I might call and check on CM. She said call anytime or come by, so I am just gonna do that.

CM sounds like he is doing GREAT
other than getting kicked out of her bedrooom last night. He kept rubbing on her and he ended up sleeping in a recliner, lol

back to letting Jack out to see if he will be a good boy

I am having so much fun with the drum. I am doing free online video classes with Michelle Stewart. She is originally from Nova Scotia and married a Scotsman and has two little ones. She teaches in Scotland and then comes home to Nova Scotia each summer to teach in the Gaelic College there.

Just joined her Facebook, as well.

Here is the website of the man who made my bodhran. Watch the short video on the first page. It is Christian playing his favorite drum. He is so funny.

He is located in Bavaria.

Evening All! Well I will sleep better tonight knowing that New Kitty is safely in the sunroom! And we put some Revolution on him in case he has any bugs. Love all the names you all are coming up with! How will I ever choose? Jeremy .... LOL .... Sorry about the food poisoning Clinic. :( I know it's no fun. Handme, I didn't want to mention anything negative - I was just so happy to talk with someone in the know being helpful - like they usually are! So glad for CM, Funi - although we will miss him! Sounds like he didn't even need some "getting to know you" time! GREAT! Hope Orange Kitty is all right. Great news on the drum, Lynn! You sound so happy! 9K - great list of names! Gotta relax a bit - catch you all later! Fashion Police Kitteh .... LOL!

Sunny - Dream of a good name. clinic - Food poisoning. Ack! I got a case of salmonella from a single drop of contaminated chicken blood that splashed in my eye. I was literally crawling on the floor to the bathroom. It was awful!!! Time for me to shut it down for tonight.
Goodnight and sweet dreams to us all.

:-DHAPPY CATURDAY!!!!!:-D Good morning everyone! clinic - I would not want food that sat out for a long time either. Water, as well. I see so many people who do not change their furbabie's water until it is about empty.:( Another nice and sunny (but cold) day here again. At least it makes it look as Spring is coming! Today is the official National Day of Prayer but I am thinking that it should be every day. I am feeling a little on the yucky side and am probably going to go back to sleep for a bit. Nothing serious, just extra tired. Spent last evening visiting back and forth on the net with a new bodhran friend, Kate. I also was practicing technique as well as speed. I can keep up a 6/8 rhythm to 100 bpm, then I lose it, but that is pretty good for just starting out. Have a wonderful day!

Happy Caturday All !!!! We made it to the weekend once again! :)

Clinic ~ So glad to hear DH is much better! I remember you telling us about your family wedding when Rick and I went through our McD's ordeal. :O

Lynn ~ What a pretty kitty gif! Cold here, too! I'm so glad New Kitty spent the night in the sunroom! He seems to like sitting on the ledge and looking out the big patio window. The garage doesn't have any windows to the world, so I'll bet he's happier about that!

He used his litter box well, ate all his food last night and wants to come out and play with the others - who are all lined up at the windows and doors looking at him and wondering what's going on. Harley especially - he's always the most curious in any situation.

Anyone having anything special for breakfast? I'm hungry. Kind of having a taste for linguini later. I saw emeril put an egg in his linguini for a final touch - off the heat and folding it in. That sounds like a good idea!!

A cute St. Patrick's Kitteh ....
