$$$$ - Hope everything is well with you.  I have padded the heel on my shoe, but my heel still hurts when I step on it.  Not as bad, but still painful.

Today is one of those lazy, do absolutely nothing days again.

MY DAUGHTER SAYS MAYBE I CAN GET SMALL DOG NEXT BUT I LOVE THESE BIG OLE LABS SO MUCH.

I HAVE BEEN RECOVERING FROM WORK LAST WEEK! IT WASNT SO HARD BUT GETTING UP AT 3:30AM FOR THREE DAYS WAS A HARDSHIP FOR ME!

I HAVE TWO DAYS OF THE SAME BUT IT IS HERE AT HOME SO IT WONT BE SO BAD. I DONT ALWAYS UNDERSTAND WHY STORES GO IN AND RESET PRODUCTS LIKE WE DO AND WHY THEY HIRE OUTSIDE WORKERS TO DO IT.

I KNOW THE LONGER YOU STAY IN A STORE THE MORE YOU SPEND. WHEN EVERYTHING IS MOVED YOU HAVE TO STAY LONGER AND SEE MORE PRODUCT. WHO AM I TO QUESTION?? IT IS A JOB!!

I went out yesterday & started pulling weeds, 3 of the hostas came back (& my lily of valley have jumped across the lil sidewalk & are growing there too, hope they fill in all the bare spots!) the rest of bed is bare dirt.  That's where the dogs congregate to look thru the fence at neighbor & his dog, nothing will grow there cuz of 'traffic'. lol   That's the only spot where they can see & bushes don't obstruct their view. 

Want to continue pulling weeds but started feeling it yesterday & work made it worse.  May wait till weekend.  Once pulled the beds will probably be nekked!

I'm sick, started yesterday, severe runny nose, coughing, headache.  Need to buy some OTC stuff at work tonight, I feel cwappy. It might be from being outside so much when it was still a bit cooler out, cutting the grass & doing dogs.

Carly, aim the camera & she gets this 'abused dog' posture going on & won't look at you. Maybe she assoc. pix with going to a new home, I'm her 3rd or 4th one. It's a shame cuz she's the sweetest little girl & well behaved.  Notice the fat looking legs, don't think I'll trim leg feathers again.

Tiff is not much better, she's a silly shy girl that's always worried she's in trouble.

There was like nobody working the store last night.  Short on cashiers so calling peeps from their depts.  I had girls & boys & since not working weekends I find it's a big mess on Mon.  I was 'almost' done with girls & mgr. asked me to do some infant stocking. Overnight peeps are the 'stockers' but ya can't say no to mgr. so I went & did it, then finished girls & had 40 min. left to do boys.  It did not get done!  I can't understand why the scheduling is so f'd up, don't they see it?!

Think I may veg on couch & take some aspirin. I hate having to go to work feeling like this. Last night for a time I felt like I was gonna barf. Back is still hurting. Later.

WOW Handme!! You really took some incredible pictures!  I LOVE Sarges' little white legs sticking out.  LOL!  So cute.  And the curly tails!!!  You really should upload them to Walgreens Photo and take advantage of some of their free 8x10's and collages coming up.  They have them all the time.  I just got a free 8x10 of Nala in her pretty scarf!  Pictures are so priceless!

I'll have to read that vegan link.  I find that produce and dairy products are relatively inexpensive at Aldi - if you have one.  I love that store!  Right now I'm happy being a vegetarian getting protein from dairy and various other non-meat foods.  But, I'm kind of eyeballing the Meijer special on Boca chicken this week. 

Lynn - soooooooo happy you finally found your purse, but sad for all you went through.  YIKES.  At least you got your camera back.  That's not an inexpensive purchase.  Sending hugs to your furries.    Glad you were able to find some morels.  Sorry to hear about Ike.

I got a call from WalMart.  The girl asked me if anyone had ever called to say that they had my purse. ??????????????  I told her no and that the police have the video of a couple leaving with it.  She said, well, she was off for a few days, but it is locked in the back.  While trying to figure this out she told me that all the id and cards, my camera and even a couple of bucks that was in it were all still there.  Then I asked her to look in the zipper and she told me there was some stuff and I told her to look in the little zippered pocket inside.  She said there was nothing in there.  I am guessing they grabbed the drugs and then just dumped it in out the window in the lot and some honest person turned it in!

I have to go up there Wednesday to refill the drug that was taken and will pick it up then.  I already changed everything and ordered new cards but I will not have to order a new SS card.  I never thought I would get it back.  I already put a bid on a used camera on eBay.  I only bid $20, so if it goes higher, I will just let it go.

Morning!  Nice & sunny out today, have been out & trying to take dog pix.  Will load to PB & post en masse. Get ready for this!   I took pix yesterday (or tried to) on the deck & most turned out not to be body shots, just heads. So tried to re-do better this a.m.

Sunny, hope you had a great mothers day!  I love those captions on the pix, they always give me a giggle & really fit the pix.

GS spent the night with the friend who picked him up.  He got back here this a.m. & geesh, his luggage was heavy!  He had a larger suitcase & duffle bag & then a smaller shoulder bag.  He took most of his summer clothes since he was hoping this would work & be permenant.

I got all the Chi's washed & groomed but didn't do Giz.  By dog #9 I was getting tired & just trying to get 'er done!  I used up 3 partial bottles of dog shampoo tho', which cleaned up the cabinet nice.   They smell so good & feel so soft.  The brushing removed a lot of hair too, heck some of it came off during the bath, so bet they feel cooler & more comfy now.  Also did some trimming on overly long tail hair etc.  I cut Carly's leg feathers off, they were extremely long, & I think it made her legs look shorter & heavier.  She's the one with long thin legs.  Sneaky me gave them their HG as treats, since they love those anyway.  I'm sure they'd rather had the HG AND a treat.     

All  of a sudden my anitvirus icon was missing & the Windows Defender was on as my main AV.  I have it on my puter just in case I need it, but my main AV is MSE & I like it.  I couldn't delete Defender & couldn'g find MSE on puter but kept getting messages that it wasn't ON.  I had to re-download it & found a way to shut off Defender. Whew, what a rigamaroll.

Off to PB & afterwards gonna hit the recliner.  I haven't been in it in about 5 days!

Good morning everyone!

The weather has finally warmed up here.  It is very dry and we had two forest fires yesterday.

BIL & SIL and the two of us went out for dinner last night.  The rest had the special day buffet which looked really good, but I ordered nachos grande which makes three meals for me.

I skipped PT today as my foot really hurts and I just feel icky.  Ike has what is thinks now is a gout attack and cannot walk on his left foot at all.

Had an interesting experience this morning.  The end of last year I got a TENS unit to see if it would help my pain (I had one many years ago) and with Medicare, even though I have a Medigap plan as well, you need to jump through hoops and have a visit 30 days after to see if it helps.  I did all this and as far as I was concerned, everything wal alright.  The rep was supposed to send me a new set of electrodes every month which is what Medicare will pay and I never received them.  I got a couple sets from my PT place.  I left a message with the rep before we left and never heard anything and when I called the other day, his number was disconnected.

I looked up the company (that is located in Washington) and the customer service person tells me I do not have one of their units.  I said I did.  She checks phone, name, BD, whatever - nada.  So, she then asks me for the serial number of the unit.  I gave it to her and she said that the paperwork had never been turned in on that unit and had never been paid.  And, whose fault is this?  She spoke to me as if I were a thief!  She actually had the nerve to tell me that I was going to place it in the return bag that is in the case until I have a valid Rx for it, blah, blah, blah.  I then told her to shut up and I will tell her what is going to happen.  I needed to call my Dr's nurse anyway, and she will fax them everything they need and when their new rep meets with me to hand me a new machine, I will be happy to give them this one back as I do not know if Medicare was ever paid or not.  I followed the rules, they did not.

My DSL is not working properly and goes in and out.  I called Frontier and they are sending someone out tomorrow as it dropped 4 times while I was speaking with them.

Ike only got a few morels but they were about 8 inches tall and huge!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

We had a nice Mother's Day dinner at Melanie & Bob's last evening.  Ike's brother & wife brought their 5th wheel and are camped in our yard (they are out hunting mushrooms) and they went.  Ike's mother was there, his sister and son showed up and Melanie's neighbors came too.  Bob grilled pork steaks and we had cake and ice cream.

Melanie got me three pots of hyacinths, each with 3 in a pot in blue, pink and white so I can plant them outdoors.  They are beautiful and the scent is one of my favorites.   Ike is giving me money for garden flowers when we can safely plant here.

I was planning on cleaning the carpets in the trailer today, but as Andy is plugged in, I will wait till Monday.  Andy and sister both really liked it.  Dorothy Alice said she could live really nice in it.  I told her that I could too.

We discovered a 'secret' about the trailer.  There is a second window in the bedroom on the outside, but we could not find it on the inside.  There is a huge mirror over the vanity/computer desk and Andy gave it a yank and it slides over to reveal a window, complete with shades and curtains!!!   I has a velcro close and I guess Ike did not want to pull too hard.  Nice thing to know as the cross breeze will be nice when we use it next.

Afternoon goils.   Been busy this a.m. doing laundry & cleaning & on puter.  It's not warm here, only 59 & need a sweater outside.

Lynn, glad they found out who took your purse & hope you get everything back, including the Rx.  Could there be add'l charges cuz of these meds being involved?

DD stopped here on way to her dad's to do laundry.  I gave her the mother's day card & we both got weepy.  I had Mely's card hidden under my zip hoody & when I leaned in car to kiss her snuck it out & to her lap & said "What's the baby got? Where'd she get this?"  DD liked that card too, I printed Mely's name as childishly as I could.

Yesterday Britt's mom called here & was so upset she started out yelling!  I let her finish her tirade & get it all out & then she seemed calmer & we talked.  End result was that Brittany & the baby were out shopping & the mom said she was gonna wake GS & go drop him off in town.  I told her he has an Amtrak ticket for a train that leaves Sat. evening from Longview & I hoped she wouldn't do that, since he has absolutely no $ & would be stranded.  She said, & it's dangerous out there, & then we lost phone connection or she hung up, don't know.  Today on FB he made a post from the bus station, so DID she dump him yesterday?  Gotta find out what's going on, is he taking bus instead or is he stranded 1 place & unable to get to Amtrak?  I didn't like that the mom did this while Britt was gone, behind her back. 

Did cut grass yesterday & do some trimming of stuff sticking thru the fence.  Need to do more of that but it was looking like rain yesterday so left it & made sure grass was done first in case it started.  Still a sunless day today & not going out there. I may wash dogs so they're clean b4 I flea treat.
