Digging Our Way Out Of An Economic Mess

This is a thread topic designed to help inspire creative dialogue on how the Sellers and Buyers in the EBay community manage to survive bleak Economic times, and political uncertainty that we all face. We are in a deep hole, and we certainly don't want to dig deeper, so all idea's for the survival of the fittest will be welcomed. I am going to start by offering one idea that I have, and hopefully others will follow.

What a joke!

An election in the United States. An election for the congress. Some idiot Republican puts an exteme liberal on the Republican ticket. WHY?

This seat has been held by a Republican since back in the 1800's. A sure election win, when we need some help fighting off Obama. So what does this "respected" member of the party do. Run a friend of Obama. The friend pulls a Sarah Palin and drops out, even before the election. And then to make asure every one knows, just how liberal she is. She endorses the Democrat candidate.

Are we talking a three stooges stunt, or politics in America. It's not only the presidential candidates, they're all idiots.

Nancy Pelosi was right. On the national scene, as far as the congress goes. They won last night. They picked up two seats

I was referrring to people who either were bums before they were elected, or turn into ones as soon as they get to D.C. I am not sure than an honest person can survive back there.

I don't know how many in politics at any position are honest. Look at the New York 23 Congressional Election. I think what happened there is going too far. The only one I heard criticized was Newt Gingrich. He apologized by saying that he didn't research Scossabubba before he gave his support to her.

I would think there would be demands for her to step down from her NY congressional seat, or to impeach her. Is there no honor in politicians? How can you take $900,000 from an organization and then stick it to them.

Is this so much the norm that no one even notices? Maybe it's the amount. To me that kind of money is big. To them that must be pocket change. But even ignoring the money, There's no code of honor, professional pride? There's no respect for each other? There are no unwritten rules of what you just don't do.

Marie Antoinette found out there are some rules. I guess it matters when you disparage cake?
