Welcome to the NEW 2004 Introduce Yourself thread! The other thread was getting SO long, so let's start a new one for a new year!

There are lots of board regulars here, but also lots of newbies and lurkers (like me). I thought it'd be fun to introduce ourselves and get to know each other a little better! :)

My name is Errin. I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling, eBay mom. I also do the bookwork for my DH's business. I live in a tiny town in Northeast Iowa called Castalia. I've been married to my wonderful DH, Brad for almost 10 years. We have 2 precious little boys--Bretton, age 7 and Brandon, age 4. I LOVE buying and selling on eBay!!! It's truly an addiction!

Hi! My name is Valerie! I am 25 (getting old!) And I am also a stay at home Mother! I have two boys , one almost four and the other cutie is three months! Names are Evan and Jaren! No I did not name them after the singers (Evan and Jaren!) It was completly cocnedintal! And my guys names is Aaron! and he hopes I don't spend all our money on EBAY!

I'm Karen. I've been buying and selling on Ebay for nearly 3 1/2 years. Posting to this board for about 3. I have two kids in elementary school and a husband who works a lot so we've decided for now that I'll work from home.

I sometimes make and sell folk art quilts under this id. I'm hoping this year to add folk art paintings to that offering as well as a line of baby quilts that I'm working on. You can see my ME page for a few of my quilts from last year.

Under another ID, I sell vintage printed tablecloths from the 30s through the 60s. I have had that business on hold while we renovated the house, but I should start selling again soon. I have over 1200 items in inventory so they need to start moving out! LOL!

Hi - I'm Mary. Been selling on ebay for over 3 years and helping out on this and other boards for just about as many.

I sell mostly bakery as we are a bakery LOL. I occasionally sell some of my miniature quilts that I make and other collectibles and what nots. Welcome to the board! :)

hi, my name is vici. Started out about 7 months ago as a buyer and my husband said i better start doing something to make up for all the money I was spending on ebay. So I started selling, which is still costing me (him) money. lol I am in my third year of college at the age of 42, hence the name collegeoldie. I will graduate jr. college next fall and then still have 4 more years at a different college. whoa is me. I have three kids, 24-boy-marine, 20-girl-going to college with me, and a 15-boy-gets license this year (everybody watch out).
I also have a very sweet 4 year old granddaughter, a beautiful 1 1/2 month old grandson, and three step children I adore.
I am going to be very, very busy starting next week. New school semester starts, I prepare alot of ex-relatives tax returns, ebay selling, and just takin care of the house. I'm pooped just thinkin about next week. Think I'll go take a nap. (just kidding)

Hi, I'm Kaye. I just started buying in April of 2003. I had so much fun that I decided to start selling stuff shortly after that. I'm a pack rat and I've always enjoyed yard sales (having them & going to them) and flea markets. Well I had plenty of stuff around the house to start selling but have looked for bargains along the way to keep selling. I like selling little collectibles. I have a huge inventory of books and cross stitch items that I will be listing real soon. I also plan to start listing some of my son's clothes that he has outgrown. As I look around the house, there are so many things to list and so little time.

I work full time collecting Property Taxes for the county. I also have a 13 year old son, a cat (Misty) and a husband to care for. They always tend to want supper around the same time every night! lol

Selling on ebay is fun but it can also take up a lot of your time. The shopping, research, listing, collecting the money, packaging and Post Office trips really do take lots of time but hopefully, it will all be worth it! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!

Hi Ladies,

I'm Daniel. I'm a 40 year old black male trying to make this thing work. I was working at a pizza shop when one of my driver was talking about how great Ebay is. I was interested so I checked it out. I must say that I was impressed.

I started selling a few items here and there and now I am hooked. I am setting my goals and looking forward to the day I can walk away from my current job and do this full time.

If anyone has any ideas for me I'm all ears.

I'm Suzanne, age 40 (YIKES), still a newlywed (married 05/03/03) and have boys ages 16 and 21. I'm no longer able to work and have been on SSD for 7 years, and am also visually impaired and have never driven in my life.

I sell just about anything, although clothing is my favorite. I do quite a bit of volunteering, especially for my church and my son's school. Hanging out on the boards has allowed me to learn alot and make some great friends along the way.

Hi, I'm Kathy and I have been lurking around the boards for a little while and just started posting a bit. I live in central Maine, Hallowell to be exact. A nice historical little town along the Kennebec River. I've been selling on Ebay since January 1998, selling a variety of vintage/antique items. I actually live over an antique shop so I don't have to travel too far to find stuff. I'm single (divorced) and live with 2 cats, 3 guinea pigs, a hamster, and chipmunk. I have a married daughter and a 15 month-old grandson named Max who I take care of every Monday (they live 50 miles away in Portland). The name "Jayhawk" came from a former boyfriend who started on Ebay with me. I just never got around to changing it (I don't like change too much anymore).
