I just bought a big box of barbies at the thrift store..like 25-30.Most of them are from the 80's.I also found a box of clothes at a garage sale that my friend says is from the late 60's- early 70's.I do not collect Barbie so I know absolutely nothing.Since I am starting to see more & more appear in the thrift stores I would like to buy a couple of reference books.I doubt I will ever find the "really valuable" ones...but I enjoy the hunt for fun toys and especially enjoy the research...I do not expect to get rich. When I go to Amazon there a a zillion Barbie reference books...all which have good reviews and bad reviews..I have no clue what to buy.I am looking for a couple books to identify the everyday barbies..not necessarily the exclusive expensive ones.Would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks
