Can anyone help

I found this at an estate sale. It's either a skunk, bear, cat with a rubber face. The tush tag says its ideal. Does anyone know anything about this? What about a value? I find different brands kind of like this but what about an ideal rubber/vinyl face animal? There is no year how would I figure that out?
Thanks

I vote for skunk, possibly missing his tail (unless the designer imagined the tail kind of tucked under him).

These unjointed, vinyl-faced toys don't normally have much value, but he is very cute and reminiscent of Steiff's sleeping kitty and might generate some interest.

He does still have his tail. The white stripe on his back is actually his tail laying on his back. I thought he was real cute and looked like someone would like to add to their collection. Not looking to make a lot but I'm just not sure what to even value this at. There is no year on it but you can tell it is older.
Thanks,
Jennifer

My big brother still has his skunk from when he was little - very much like that one - they date to the 1950's.
