Hello.

Please, can someone help me to identify this Teddy bear?

The bear is 21 inch high, have 5 joints with cardboard disks. The matherial is yellow mohair plush, muzzle is some other color of yellow, stuffing is wood shavings. Paw pads are felt. Eyes are amber plastic. In place of nose is left peece of black felt, no claws on paws. On the back have a cord, when is pulled, make a sound.

Hi Araxna, I like your bear, but I am going to be very surprised if someone can identify an exact maker. By the time he was made (maybe 50s), there were many, many teddy bear manufacturers. At first I thought "Austrian," but then I saw that side profile and that stopped me short (just as he is stopped short by that stubby muzzle, lol). He could be a German carnival bear, but I would suggest that he might come from one of the European countries that one doesn't normally think of in regard to bears--such as Czechoslovakia.
