My mother in law received this "Steiff" bear from her mother, who recieved it when she was a young child. She has since died, and we have no information on this bear, it was found in a cedar chest, with no information other than it came into the family in the early1900's.
It is 24 inches long-made from mohair, with straw like filling. HOWEVER, it does not have an ear tag (although it loks as if it may have been removed from the left ear, but cannot be sure). Also it has movable limbs, and a hump on its back...
