Need help with this bear. Laurence Deane Channel Islands

I have a bear that the tag states "A Blue Riband Toy" on one side and "Craft made in the Channel Islands by Laurence Deane Ltd" It is approx 24" tall with a gold link chain around it's neck. Light beige color, not mohair. PLEASE HELP with listing it! [IMG]Link[/IMG]

I've never heard of that make, but it's cute. I'd suggest listing it under artist bears and/or the "other" bears category. No idea as to starting bid or value. Unfortunately, unless it's an antique, well known artist bear, or Steiff/Hermann and the like, some bears don't bring much. I haven't had much luck selling anything other than antiques.

You might contact them to find out how old this bear might be and if it was made by the same company - it says they have been in existence for 40 years -

It would still fit into the "Other" bear category likely, but having some background information on the bear will increase interest -
