Hi...I just got back from Tampa...
I went there to meet some of the posters that I have been visiting with over the last couple of years.
It was wonderful to put faces to the posts.

Hi to all the Beary nice people!!

That was a short little walk over. Can't stay to long, we have a big storm rolling in and I'll probably get booted off my satellite dish. Have to Beary my nose in my taxes and paying Uncle Sam.

Hi to all of you! Just snuck out of bed to check out the boards... my cold did get worse and I am spending the day in bed, yikes. We were invited to a birthday party this evening and this person lives in a geodesic dome home. I was so excited to see it! Has anyone ever been in one?
At least I have a couple of bears in bed keeping me from being too lonely :)
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!!!!

Hi All, Barbara - you are so lucky to have went to Tampa! I bet that was great. Diane & Kat, you both better take it easy for a couple more days! I have never been in a geodesic dome home and that would have been cool to see. Hopefully you will get to do it another time. I went through an underground home one time that was great. It wasn't totally underground but partway and the ground was bermed up over the outside of it. You would never have to paint! Just mow the outside of your house! I thought it would be strange not having any windows but the house was built in a circular style and in the middle was an open area with grass and sliding glass doors and and all the rooms had glass for the wall surrounding that so they all had natural light. It was like having your own little tiny private yard in the middle of the house! It was interesting! I don't know if I would want to live in one but I liked it.

Morning all,
I still don't feel to great however I'm able to crochet again! Now I can get back to making my little ones.
Anybody know how to glue polymer clay together after it's been cooked? I have a wonderful idea that won't stay together.

Just did a google search and now I know how to glue baked polymer clay and I found some interesting painting techniques.

Dianne, glad you are starting to feel better. My son has a friend that makes little animals out of clay. I don't know if they are baked or what but they are cute. He collects monkeys and she made him the cutest little monkey. It will be fun to see your newest creations!

Hi Vicki - nice to have you aboard! I collect mainly old bears but have a little of alot of different kinds! I have a few Boyds too. They are really cute. I love watching the QVC Boyd Bear shows when Gary is on there - what a character! Makes me laugh!

I love all bears with a cute face, I don't thing they all do, but haven't found many that didn't. I noticed that Dianne is from Vermont. Good to meet a Vermonter on the boards. Hi Dianne, I was wondering if anybody out their has seen a old Curious George? I used to have one but it has gone to the big place in the sky. I know its not a bear but just wondering if anybody has seen one lately. Well got to go... Bear Hugs from Vermont

Morning all,
I like making my bears accessories from the polymer clay however since I like my bears soft I wouldn't want to do them in clay.
Camping - where abouts are you? I'm between Rutland and Manchester.
