First, this is not a real complaints about eBay thread:  it was set up for off-topic jokey posts.

Second, it is the seller who chooses the category (or categories for an additional fee) his item is listed under, not eBay.  You may use the "Report Item" link in the right column of the Item Page to report for:  Listing practices: Search and browse manipulation: Listing in an incorrect category.

Complaint1:  Of all the off-topic threads, THIS is the one that didn't get locked.

Complaint2:  Why do people with a problem think they are more likely to get help making the 10 gazillionth reply to an off-topic thread rather than starting a new thread about their problem?

I Have Found Cars For Sale On Other Sites Locally In Edmonton And Calgary Probabally Other Canadian Cities As Well. The Price Of The Vehicles Are Half Of Wholesale Value And They Are Saying Payment And Shipping Is Arranged Through E-Bay Are You Aware Of This? The Storie From The Seller Is Just Divorced Car Not Here Or In Storage Give Me Info On Personal Accounts Etc Etc I Am Starting To See These On A Daily Basis

What happened?  Where is everybody?

A bidder bid and won my auction.  I checked his feedback and appearently he's been on a bidding and winning mission and is not paying.  I realize we'll get our final fees charged back but since we have to relist the item we are now out the original listing fee.  I belive eBay should not charge a fee to relist the item when this happens.  This makes me almost feel like eBay is doing this to get more listing fees.  Your thoughts - THANKS.

Not recieving final value fees back even though I tried to issue a refund and eventually it went through.

So I sold a item on ebay it was a Iphone 4s the user needed an older OS then what was on the phone so I asked the buyer to open a case where he could ship the item back and I could then issue a refund once the item arrived back to me.  Papal put a temporary hold on my paypal account for $390 dollars putting my account in negative but then released it back to me? weird. So I got the phone and then went into the case and tried to issue a refund via the link provided and all I got was a paypal error.  I called twice telling ebay that there was a problem and that I coouldn't issue a refund.. they were no help.. they couldnt figure out why it wouldn't issue the refund and the phone was disconnected, tired of talking to them for 2hours I didnt call back and the next day I see the money being pulled from my ebay account.  I assumed that they finally issued a refund because I kept telling them I couldnt.  Not what ebay resolution lady says.  Ebay issued a refund on your behalf because I didn't have the full $390 in my paypal balance.  Funny thing is that I had a paypal specialist on the line telling her that paypal would take the remanding balance from my secondary bank account filed with paypal.  She actually hung up on me lol.  Also to add more problems the buyer called his bank to issue a chargeback so I was being charged twice for the same rufund. Nice..I got that fixed after 5 hours on the phone..I just want my final value fees back from ebay If there was a problem and that I needed to add funds to my paypal balance before I issued a refund the ebay people sould have told me that.  Even though paypal told me i didn't have to have the full balance in my paypal balance and that they would take the remainder from my bank I set up with them.
