Hi there! I hope you all are having a wonderful day as it’s almost the weekend!
With a lot of sellers adding more buyer requirements to their listings some of you may be experiencing an error message you are blocked and need to link your PayPal account! I have had a lot of contacts about this, and have been able to help each member, as it seems they all missed the last step. To link your account:
1. From your "my eBay" click the "Addresses" link on the left hand legend. (If you're using beta under the "Account" tab click "Addresses".
2. Click the "View All shipping addresses" link.
3. Click the "Add PayPal addresses" button.
4. Sign into your PayPal account click the "Link Your Account" button.
****5. In order for your account to become link you need to click the orange "Signup later, or return to eBay" button. Once this is done it will return you to your Addresses section there will be a green checkmark showing it completed AND the PayPal logo and "Add PayPal addresses" button will disappear.
If the last step isn't completed, it will not work. The orange button is misleading! But we are working to fix that
To make sure your eBay account is linked to your PayPal account:
1. Go to www.paypal.com
2. Log into your account so you’re on the “My Account Overview” page.
3. Click the “Edit Profile” or just “Profile” link.
4. Under the far right column “Selling Preferences” click the “Auctions” link.
5. If your User ID isn’t here, click the “Add” button, and submit your eBay User ID and password.
The above steps in PayPal can sometimes just be helpful to close any gaps to make sure all the information is sent from PayPal to eBay and vice versa.
Have a good night, and enjoy your upcoming weekends
