Ask yourself why you would not post to a political thread ... ???

Ask yourself why you would not oppose the Far Right ... while they oppose ... Healthcare ... while they oppose a Green-America ... ... ask yourself why they Hate ... any and every American who disagrees with them.

Ask yourself ... why ... they disagree with every Obama initiative ... Ask yourself why .... they don't like Obama ... no matter what he does ... ???

Ask yourself ... why ... you do not make a statement ...





... must be laziness ... or that politics and religion ... shouldn't be discussed at the dinner table ...

... meanwhile ... the Far Right ... pretends that ... all y'all "Booksellers" agree with them.

They pretend ... uncontested ... that the Invasion of Iraq ... was a "Good Thing" ... they pretend that Right Thinking "folks" are the Real Americans ... who support Invasion of other countries under false pretences ... who support ... "Torture" as a good thing ... as the "American Way" ...

Yep ... y'all got your labels ... and y'all got your way of thinking ... and y'all got your "beliefs" about what the "bookboard" should "be" or "not to be".

But, meanwhile ... the Far Right took over this board long ago ... and they have shown us, "all of us" that the Far Left are crazy left-wing Obama supporters.

No one has contested "them" ... they are right ... and everyone else is wrong.
























Always remember ... the Enemy of the Far Right ... is his/her fellow American.

You booksellers ... are their "fellow American".

I don't post on political threads very often because there is a group of elitist posters who posture themselves above the rest for their group leaving anyone else to sit there wondering why when a valid point is made or a valid question is asked those braniacs just step right over it unless one of their own is the one making the point or asking the question.

I have seen people post, and be ignore while another posturer posts virtually the same thing, and is brushed aside often without one word of acknowledgement.


Sorry, Phil, but you are one of the biggest posture posters around.

So...ask yourself if you are so passionate about politics, the state of things, then why don't you posture yourself in a position that includes instead of excludes.

A beautifule achievement ... my posture is bad ... and you don't like it ...

Meanwhile ... do you oppose progress ... are you supporting the Invasion of Iraq ... and torture ... are you supporting "bailouts" of Wall Street ...

... or ... are you just a very clever poster who figured out that one could question the "posture" of another poster ... as a "negative" ???...

But, on this board ... The Left ... is absent ... The Far Left ...... does not exist ... ... The regular left ... that would be those "Evil Democarts ... are gutless ...

... On this board ... the Far Right wins every time ... by virtue of treating ... "offending" posters" ... as cute little ladies ... by virtue ... of treating serious booksellers ... as "off their noggin" .... when it comes to "politics".

The answer to the question "Ask myself why I would not post to a political thread" is that for the most part, I DON'T WANT TO.

I am not lazy, nor am I a wimp, and I resent the implication that I am because I choose to stay out of the political threads.

How about you ask yourself this one, Phil: Why Would You Not Post to a Book Related Thread ???

I have not for the far right or the far left.
As with any issue, opinions will sort themselves out along the right and left far all the way back to the fencd where the two meet.

I voted for Obama.
I support Obama.
I like Obama.
I am not happy with Obama because he doesn't sink his teeth in. Instead he smiles, talks nice and moves on the to the next issue before accomplishing what I thought he said he wanted to accomplish.

I'm not cozy with the health care bill he spoke about as if people can't read the bill to see his statements weren't accurate. Misleading people when the facts say otherwise isn't a way to gain support.
Sounds like Palin when you think about it.
Is that what people meant when they said Obama didn't have enough experience to run for president?

There will always be a group of people who will dislike a president no matter who he or she is. History supports that statement.
