It's a bad thing when one goes shopping and with every purchase considered is the thought, "Can I turn a profit on this thing?"

Sitting in the dentist's chair with the better portion of the left side of my face and half my tongue numb made me wonder if this is how a stroke victim feels.

Of course I asked my dentist.

It would be difficult to learn to live with such numbness.:(

My respect to recovering stroke victims.

One dentist nicked a nerve.  I freaked when it did not get feeling back.  Over the years, much has returned but not all.

My Ray's let me mow...He can't and would not let me near the riding mower.  I finally had to quarrel with him.

I'm afraid of our riding lawnmower. Our property is too hilly.

I can use the push mower, though it would be a week-end job to get it all cut.

The string trimmer (Battery) and leaf blower (electric) I can handle.

If something happened to my husband, I guess it could all be planted in trees or become a meadow.

It's a concern.

Instead of Rails to Trails, some unused rails should be for handcar (jigger, pumpcar, pump trolley) use only. It would promote good exercise. It would be fun, too.

I've found a use for the large stovetop glass amber pyrex roaster and soup pot!  My Ray's rejected them for cooking; but line it with aluminum foil, add water to cover the largest of silver serving pieces. Toss in 2 little t each of salt and baking soda and bring to a boil.  Let it boil a few minutes and leave until silver is almost clean... you do want to have a little patina!

So much suffering eliminated.

Dawsonville now has a bookbinder and book restorer. She has been in the bookbinding business for over 40 years in England and the United States. She and her husband originally came to the US to do some work for Armanda Champa of Louisville KY.

I will google Champa.
