Prayers needed for my mother......

Tomorrow my 86 year old mother will have an operation, a mastectomy, and I am worried.

She is frail and some of you will remember that a few years ago she had a horrible fall that resulted in some brain damage.

Much love and support was sent her way during her last hospital stay and I am asking again for prayers and good thoughts.

I've seen first hand how powerfully kind this board can be.....

Her name is Harriet and she is a kick!

When told about the surgery she said, straight faced to the doctor...
"That's alright, I haven't used then in years."

I'll check in tomorrow when I can.....

She's a wonderful woman and a mother sub of sorts for me. I'm scared but I'm sending my strength out to her.

I'll be praying and sitting by the phone.

Patty, you know that my thoughts and prayers are on their way to your mom, Harriet. She sounds like my kind of gal! Please give her a gentle hug from me - she raised a great daughter!

I know you've had a lot to handle lately - just wanted you to know that some of those thoughts and prayers are for you, too - including as many cyber (((hugs))) as you want.

My prayers are with you Patty and your Mom, Harriet.
She sounds like she has a spunky spirit, and my wish is that she whizzes right through this, and out those hospital doors.
