Why is she smiling?  Why, for that matter, is she standing?  After birthing 14 piglets, I'd be out for the count, LOL!  Wendy

There is a button in her ear.

Photo was taken at the Miracle Birth Center, Olmstead County Fair, Rochester MN.

There were chicks and ducks just out of eggs, the piglets, a calf just born with umbilical still attached and the mother with same.  I didn't know that cow belly buttons were in the center of their bellies.

Kids could get very close at this small county fair. My grandson held a piglet a few hours old.  The unsteady calf wobbled backwards and bumped--actually sat on my legs I was sitting on the bleachers.

When calves are born on tv and movies there is never an umbilical hanging out of the cows back end that reaches nearly to the ground.  The cow was milked of about six gallons of colostrum.

Speaking of 14 or 19 piglets--I wonder if all of them wiggle like crazy in the womb like human children do.  That sounds like a queazy stomach to me.  Maybe that's why she is smiling?

14 piglets would cost a fortune at the supermarket buying disposable Hoggies!
