I have also read that I might be able to complete payment through Paypal directly, under the "Send Money" - "Pay for eBay items" button. However, when I attempt to do that, I am unable to use the 8% off coupon I received. I am also concerned that if I do that, I won't receive the 13% Live.com cashback that I am supposed to receive for the transaction (I am also concerned that if I don't pay quickly enough, I will also lose out on the cashback).

I'm getting the same error. It is a BIN item for $300.00 which requires immediate payment, I have tried it at least 15 times today, in every configuration, live.com, no live, CC, bank draft, new CC, different confirmed addresses, different browsers, different computers, different IPs

for THREE days now! no response from Ebay. About to scream! Is there anyway around this?

I also had the Speed Bump Problem. There was nothing that I could do. I contacted the seller and he told me to send a personal check. Ask the Seller, and tell them your problem, you never know. It worked for me. And the Speed Bump is no longer listed, after what, 60 days. They may even take a Money Order or Cashier's Check. Contact you Seller. The rest is Ebay problem.

I read about this fix and it worked for me: update your PayPal and eBay accounts with the same email address. No idea why that worked, nor why it never caused me problems before.

What is up with that? This message is useless!!!

I also only hit speed bumps or the browsers just hangs forever since about a week ago. Same problem with 3 different computers and different browsers. It really sucks!
