I missed it too. But there is still time to celibrate with a beer or 12. I was hoping to get some paypal money tonight so I could buy beer on the way to the mail box and declare my drinking as a business expense.

Hello everyone.  TGINT! (Thank goodness it’s not Thursday!) lol

Ted when you sell things we'll say over 20 items in the last three months. Why isnt their a sellers detail. And it just stays the same.

Hi Amy.  I’d like to add to what Ted already mentioned and it involves the “seller’s detail” (DSR) not showing up when selling (& receiving fb for) more than 10 items within a 12-month period.

As the DSR box says, you need a minimum of 10 fb from buyers who rated the DSR areas.  I’m going to use your fb (below) as an example.

If you had 20 listings and “one” buyer won three auctions within the same week, when that buyer leaves you three fb’s, it’s only counted once.  So I believe your DSR is not showing because only 9 buyers rated you (not 10).  Also, keep the revolving calendar in mind--- come May 24th, buyer 9 will roll off and come June 2nd, buyer 7 & 8 will roll off, etc, etc…  I hope this helps.  :)

Hey there you'ns!

Happy not Thursday Everyone,

Hump, EJ, How the hell are you?

I got a couple of coins today that have the scratched die errors that had been discussed a couple of months ago. I don't find the thread so it must have been quite a while since it came up. The Lincoln cent, I knew was a scraped die error but have not verified that the Roosie is also the same error. I'm happy with a couple of "new" found errors that didn't break the bank.

Re: --THE NEW COIN CHAT ROOM--

From another thread:

For goodness sakes, go look for something like 1942-D nickels.  EBAY throws in all sorts of other nickels among the 1942-D nickels.  I have spent the last half hour looking for different coins in certain grades, and other non-related show up in my search.  This is very distracting.  I look at why different dates show up in my search  (like 1938 or 1950) and there is nothing in their titles or descriptions that match my search.

I am wondering if EBAY is maskiing the fact that they have pushed so many sellers out of selling that there is not that many items to look at, so they throw in other items in my search.

EBAY, you are broken!

A good response:

OP: "Doctor, Doctor! It hurts when I do that!"

Doctor: "Don't do that!"

My thought's are "why even read the description of something you're not interested in?

" I look at why different dates show up in my search  (like 1938 or 1950) and there is nothing in their titles or descriptions that match my search."

No wonder it take a half hour to go through the search.

Have you been starting her up regularly? Top off the tank with fresh gass it could have gummed up while sitting. Get on the highway and drive like a madman, when the engine gets good and hot you'll burn any crud off the plugs, easier and more fun then replacing them although not as effective. But before you do anything make sure you have oil in the engine.

Have you been starting her up regularly?Yes I have but she has some kind of sound oging on like knocking at first I thought it was the oil but nope it' full. Might have to check the tranny but highly doubt it. She just probably need a good tune up. Hope so.

i would be afraid of speeding she just might clunk out on me. I went 55 she did pretty good though,

These blue eyes are gonna cry like a baby if it's  the engine and needing replaced,

I had the starter changed in it and still having problems starting her up, Once I charge the battery she's good to go, Takes me two times to get it going then after no problem til the next morning.

Re: --THE NEW COIN CHAT ROOM--

If the sound is there when the car is in park or neutral then it's not the tranny since the tranny is not engaged. Tranny noise only happens when you are moving.

If the sound is like metal pounding metal that would be very low oil or a serious engine problem. A sewing machine sound (very fast tapping metal) would be bad lifters or low oil.

If the car shakes and putters in or out of gear (and I'm guessing this is it) then you are misfireing. It's a gass/air/spark problem. Those are the three things you need for combustion, gass to explode, air because nothing can burn without oxygen, and spark to set off the blast.

And a full tune up will most likely solve any of that. Air filter could be clogged, gass filter could be clogged, plugs could be fouled, cap or rotor contacts could be corroded. Fresh gass will improve the quality of what's been laying in your tank.

Worst case would be gummed up fuel injectors which are costly to replace. The nice thing about carburetors is they flush like a toilet instead of fuel injection which sprays like a shower.

Another thing that is always a possibility with new cars like yours is a computer problem. If you disconnect the battery for 15 minutes it will reset the computer. It's the automotive version of deleting your cookies. That won't help a bad sensor but it does solve a lot of other problems.
