Comic Book FAQ - Info for both Veteran and Newbie

Apr 26, 2008 12:24 PM
Jeez, I must be brainwashed, I was thinking of a slabbed comic. A slabbed double cover copy gets the highest grade of the 2 covers, so you wouldn't have to tear the cover off to get a 9.4 even if the outside cover was a 3.0.

Comic Book FAQ - Info for both Veteran and Newbie

Dec 6, 2008 4:48 AM
Question ??
New York Times OLD Comic Papers with lots of different comic strips in them...Dick Tracy, etc.
Gentleman has left them with me on consignment, along with about 30 or more OLD Life Magazines..1955 Issues.
I think the comics were inserts with the New York Times paper, although 15 cents is in the upper corner.
Worth anything ?
Thanks in advance for your replies...:)

The link is broken on my screen (red X). Can you repost or PM it to me? I have 3 huge comic boxes of comics from 70s on, some signed with certificates of authenticity to research and sell. Need to learn something first. Thanks

<table width=468><tr><td> LINK THIS</td></tr></table>

I've read every thread on this board and still see red x and broken link for the FAQ. I thought I could ferret out the link by seeing it on reply, but the above quote (hope it comes out as I see it) is what I get and taking out the url does not lead anywhere. I would REALLY appreciate someone telling me how to see these FAQs.

The material they point to has been removed by whomever's web-site it was. There's nothing to see.
