We believe that working closely with our Community is an integral part of our mutual success. Effectively communicating with such a large membership base can be challenging, and is a task we are happy to embrace. There are several ways in which eBay solicits input from members: community forums (like this discussion board), the eBay Announcement Board, surveys, and newsletters (to name a few). In addition to the above methods, we also organize focus groups comprised of members who buy and sell in particular categories to solicit feedback on category-specific features, programs and policies. eBay staff meets with these groups via phone on a regular basis (either monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly). Calls generally last about an hour, and often times involve communication online, outside of the calls. We are currently seeking a few buyers and sellers for participation in a Computers group. If you are interested in volunteering, please email me (lulu@ebay.com) and include your User ID. If you have more than one ID, please include the ID used for buying and selling in the Computer category. I will contact those interested in the next week.
