Could you try to put "Perfect" in your title?

I needed 2 as gifts and I've spent the ONLY free 45 minutes I have this week searching thru chipped, repaired, cracked and missing.

If you list "Perfect" you'll be the first ones I view.  Collectors only want mint and perfect or slightly aged like crazed.

Thank you.

In my 16 years on ebay looking at Lefton, it has been my experience that most sellers don't like to put that in their description simply because they have no idea if an item is perfect or not. I don't blame them. It would result in WAY TOO MANY troubles from buyers who thought perfect meant more perfect than the sellers think. The best thing to do is look at each item and decide for yourself if it is in acceptable condition for your tastes.

Additionally - the few sellers that do claim perfect or mint on their Lefton items actually seldom have such items for sale. But I think its an honest mistake - again demonstrating they just have no idea about the items condition....Making it most important for a buyer to decide what is acceptable to them and not trust a sellers opinion of condition on something most sellers may know little about.

I agree with the above - PERFECT is just too subjective and so many buyers are picky picky picky that even normal age crazing would to them mean not perfect.

So it would be VERY dangerous for a seller to use the adjective perfect.

Nothing in life is PERFECT!

I might use the word undamaged....rarely the word mint and never the word perfect especially when describing something such as a Lefton or Josef Original that was probably never perfect to start with.

Sorry, but using the word perfect in the title of old ceramic figurines is asking for trouble and would be ill advised.

Of course, I also think the word damaged DOES belong in the title.

Oh dear, that sounded a little snooty about the Josef and Lefton collectibles. Didn't mean it that way. They are collectible because they were well done.

I guess what I meant is that I have never and probably will never see any such thing as a perfect ceramic figurine no matter who made it.
