Discontinued dollhouse

Mar 21, 2008 3:41 PM
Does it have three floors and lots of bay windows? If so, I have a duplicate that may have some extra parts.

Discontinued dollhouse

Mar 21, 2008 4:29 PM
it does have 3 floors, 13 rooms. it is 25x52x45 and I am missing 45 pieces of the 5 & 1/4 inch siding. I am also missing the 2 stairway bases so I can't put the staircases together...I guess it was a chance buying something that old and hoping all the pieces were there, I just fell in love with it and got a really good price. Now I have to try and patch with other pieces if I can't find the ones that belong.

I actually bought some siding and some things I needed and got it together! It came out really nice, you can't even tell :)

I bought the same kit so I will be building that one soon (I sold the other one!) I am really enjoying building them.

which house did you get instead? you said it was bigger? how many rooms? which kit was it?

There is an internet group called Small Stuff Digest that probably will be able to help you. Also call or visit the local dollhouse shop.

I’ve never posted before don’t know who is talking to who but here is the house I’m working on. Pic is a couple of weeks old. I put the last shingle on the roof this morning before work. I still have shutters to put on and window boxes under the windows and hanging flowers between each post and more trim work. I should have a lot more done this weekend. If anyone finds a Victorian VM800 for sale I would like to know. Built the Dura Craft Victorian with the tower once. Now I what the big Victorian! Click on link.

GREAT house! what kit is it??

I built the VM800, and I just sold it! I bought the same kit from someone on craig's list and am working on it now. I love that house too!

If you look under dura craft dollhouses on ebay, I think there was like 3 pages. look through them all because someone listed the VM800 (already built) for sale...I don't know if you are looking to build it or own it, but that one is already built..

I'm think this weekend I'll get pictures of where I'm now. House looks so much better now! The house was suppose to be a victorian mansion and it turned out to be a horrible farm house when it was mailed to me. I kept the walls and replaced doors windows porch post. I only kept the walls. Been watching ebay for two years for VM800.
There is a VM800 for sale in Chicago NIB but the person won't mail out. I even offer to pay for it now and pick up later. Never heard back.
I want the kit. Want to put my own twist on it. When I finish this yellow one I will put on ebay to sell.

I understand completely, though the one on ebay that is done (item # 220433039921) is super nice. All that has to be done is repainted if you don't like the colors. It has wood flooring inside and it is wired. Doesnt have wallpaper or anything so it totally could be done to however you like. Just a suggestion!

watch craig's list and search dollhouse or doll house. I found the 2 VM800 I got on there...may be worth checking every now and then...

Your yellow house is FABulous, Sellme!!!

I love the porch and the turned posts and railings...VERY appealing!
