I purchased an old doll house with modern wall paper. It is in good shape. I want to replace it. Is there anything I should know before I take on this job?
Thank you!

be careful! you may need something to loosen the glue. or maybe you should just add new wallpaper on top of it if it is on securely. good luck.

As the previous poster said, if the old wallpaper is in good condition, flush on the wall with no rips, tears, you may just want to place the new one on top of it. It's easier that way, that's what I did with mine. Just be sure if you do do that, the old wallpaper does not have patterns/designs/dark colors that might show through the new wallpaper if it's a lighter shade.

An easy solution to dark wallpaper showing through the new lighter wallpaper is to just paint a thin coat of white latex paint over the old wallpaper. Nothing special, a quart of flat white latex from the paint store or Wal Mart will last you forever. Let it dry for a day or two and add the new wallpaper.
